Closing November 2 - Emily Redvÿn turned her own residence into an orphanage in 1781. Calling it providence home for wayward children, the facility was known to accept children who were abandoned, those with mental and physical handicaps, addictions, or just needing guidance. A century after emily’s execution for being a witch, providence reopened in the 1930’s with new ownership under the stewardship of the baron and governess. Then again after a fire in 1946 closed the orphanage down for good, in 1987 the campers and counselors at camp ashland decided to fix up the house and throw their annual halloween bash for local residents. Step inside red vein’s main indoor haunted house attraction, which includes over 40 highly detailed scenes, incredible scares, spinning tunnels, giant monsters, special effects, and screams around every corner.
