Only Murders In The Building [Season 3]

Boring. Clunky.

As a fan of the show, I was really excited to do this room and I am glad to say that it did not disappoint. Now if you've ever done their Art Heist room you will recognize the bones of the room. It cut down on the surprises but the puzzles more than made up for it. The best part of the room was all of the Easter Eggs that it have to all four seasons of the show. You don't need to know the show but it definitely added to the experience.

Loved it, a slight hint on the sensory clue would have been nice!

As a big fan of the show and an escape room enthusiast, I checked in everyday to see if I could snag a reservation to do this escape room. My partner and I finally got one for 11:30 PM on a Sunday night and we were so excited. It was the last week before they were going to take it down so we had to go! The wait was worth it. We did the Escape Game LA's Heist escape room before, and so this room is a reinvention of that and more! The puzzles played with the senses and it paid great homage to the show while offering something new. The storyline is stellar and did not spoil anything for us (since the show was still happening). I hope that they continue to do more Hulu partnerships in the future. Our game master was fantastic. We sped through this room and he shared that we were the most fun couple he has watched play this game.

Love the fact that Escape Games did a collaboration with Only Murders, but when they do events like this. They have to open up more time slots. We got lucky and slid in a time slot at 11:30 pm during the "hurricane". Yes we were that desperate. And it was worth it! (Only because the hurricane didn't technically hit yet) This was a great renovation of their "Heist" Room. While it was technically the same room so we had an idea on where to look for the same puzzles, it paid a great homage to the show and was different enough that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plus it was free and we got some free swag! Much appreciated Escape Games and Hulu, until the next time!

Was able to snag a reservation for this OMITB promo! 2/3 of us are fans of the show and all the references were so great! Simple linear room and only needed one hint which relied on our ability to smell. (Since the promo room is over, I’m okay with spoiling this part.) Thanks to our GM, The Escape Game, Hulu, and to OMITB for this absolutely free ER experience! Dude, we even got promo gifts haha.

Glad I got to attend this pop up escape room.

Honestly, so much better than The Heist. I wish they could just keep it like this. The theming, the storyline, the atmosphere, all top notch. Maybe it helped that we also love OMITB, but either way, this is an excellent game start to finish.

If you love the show you would love this room even if you don’t watch the show the room was cool
