Nevermore

My husband and I completed Nevermore today and it was one of the best escape rooms we have done. The themeing was immersion and we felt like we stepped back in time. The puzzles were unique and the 'characters' fit perfectly into the story. 100% recommend.

Awesome room. We are enthusiasts and felt it was challenging and didn't have any bad puzzles, which is very rare. Hosts were amazing and we love the stickers we got at the end!

The set was fantastic and the GMs love what they do. While some of the puzzles were unique, we didn’t find them challenging for 2. Don’t let the idea of this being in a house deter you, as the room transports you to the raven’s den.

This room took my breath away. It was so so well designed and thought out from top to bottom and beginning to end. Each puzzle flowed incredibly well, was intuitive, and had excellent signposting. The set design was so high quality and immersive. Every piece we handled felt high quality, sturdy, and the locks were so crisp, we were in enthusiast heaven lol. The owners are amazing and obviously have a passion for creating these amazing experiences for their customers. They were kind enough to let us geek out over their control room and manual triggers and admire the genius that went into creating this room. I have already recommended it to so many friends within just a few hours after playing because I genuinely feel it would be enjoyed by everyone. It’s ominous, but not scary, and if you are a fan of Edgar Allen Poe, there are a lot of Easter eggs for you! I wasn’t expecting a certain interactive part of this experience, but enjoyed that it increased the immersion and spookiness. It’s difficult not to give any spoilers, but there are design elements (even the flooring) that made me giddy. The puzzles were unique and multilayered. We played with only two and I feel like it was a great number to see everything and not be too cramped. The use of space and lighting and sound in this room is unmatched, so well done! Overall 10/10 would recommend making the visit! We can’t wait to go back and do Ripper!

Awesome experience! Went yesterday with some family and we all had a great time. It was my first time at an escape room. Nevermore is an awesome Edgar Allen Poe themed escape. Filled with Gothic decorations, and unique puzzles. The Ripper is a thrilling experience. They have live actors, and there is no time limit. I won’t say much more to leave it a surprise. But I will say, they put their heart and souls into this. These are some of the most down to earth people you will meet. My wife, who has autism, was able to have all commendations met for both experiences. 5/5 Will be back with friends. Oh, and say hey to Myrtle for me!

Nevermore is a beautifully designed room! We really enjoyed it! The puzzles were fun and logical with a nice flow. Its a really well thought out room! The atmosphere was creative, dark, creepy, fun and beautiful! If you're worried about this being inside someone's home, quit worrying! This is a professional business with, truly, some of the loveliest owners! Once you get in, it feels like you are inside a big city establishment, but the owners make you feel like you're at home. Highly recommend making the drive to Hickory if you're not nearby. It is well worth it! (And if you like scary stuff, haunts, horror movies, etc. Definitely play their other room Ripper after... it was also amazing and actually scary). Thank you, Nicole and Tom, for giving us such an amazing experience! We truly appreciate the care and passion you put into your rooms and totally wish you have 10 more ready to go lol!

Nevermore was an excellent and uniquely themed experience. Puzzle difficulty tends towards easy, although varied and satisfying, with good flow. Having a live actor appear in the room was a first for our group, and it certainly added to the vibe. Loved all the Poe references. Would recommend for anyone, and it would be a great first escape.

Amazing rooms and the owners were fantastic!

Oh my gosh. Amazing is an understatement. The set design and work put into the room really makes the room next level. My family and I have done many escape rooms so we've had our fair share and this was a good one. The puzzles weren't insanely difficult but we're just intricate enough to keep us on our toes. The people running this game are also the sweetest people ever. They spoke about the struggle of having their rooms in their house so if you are against going in someone's house for a room, don't waste your or their time. I would recommend this room to anyone whether new or experienced in rooms. 10/10 experience!
