Nevermore

Our family of four enjoyed this room immensely. Very engaging storyline, immersive atmosphere, cleverly designed clues - loved absolutely everything about it. Including talking to the owners / creators after completing the room. It definitely shows how much they care about your experience and ours was top notch. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This room was an unexpected delight. Like many others we raised eyebrows at the residential basement location, but there's nothing unprofessional about this operation which is higher quality than most other rooms we've done. It was obviously a labor of love from people who care about the subject matter. We loved every minute and every aspect of it. The setting is appropriately intimate. If you know your Poe, you'll appreciate the Easter eggs. We were immersed for the duration of the experience, an experience that exceeded expectations. We also loved meeting and talking with the owners afterward, I'm sad we couldn't do their their other room, Ripper, on this trip, because they've earned my trust with Nevermore. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful room. This feels like a love letter to the Poe aesthetic from people who are professionally capable of building immersive escape rooms. Emotionally striking.

Incredible room and owners/game masters! The set design and effects arw second to none and the game flow is perfect. We are looking forward to coming back to do Ripper!

Little sketchy since in someone’s basement but turned out to be fantastic. Very immersive. Puzzles were not difficult at all so would be ok for younger folks. Owners were very nice. Looking forward to trying the ripper

This was an amazing escape room and was thoroughly enjoyable. The puzzles are clever and intuitive, the atmosphere is amazing, and also has fantastic flow. This room is on the smaller end and is a shorter experience but nevertheless was a blast to go through.

I’d like to address customers’ potential concern that the escape games are located at their house. Their neighborhood is lovely. It feels like a safe and beautiful environment. Also, they did a good job of separating their business and home. We followed the signs, which took us to a door with stickers indicating their business. Inside, they had merchandise, a bathroom, and the escape games. There were curtains for the entrances/exits of the games, which allowed you to feel safe that you could leave the games at any time if needed. The staff is exceptionally professional and kind. They accommodated us when we said we could arrive earlier. Both games were great. We played “Nevermore” first, which I recommend doing. The aesthetic is dark, but it is not scary. “Ripper” was scary. It had a scare-factor comparable to Athens, which is a huge compliment.

Nevermore was one of the most beautifully unique experiences I’ve played that I’ve never seen a theme accomplished like this. The Edgar Allen Poe Easter eggs and the storyline with the amazing reveals was astounding. The puzzles brought my friend and I so much joy and the attention to detail is insane with using actual wood from that era repurposed is just an incredible node. I love everything the owners Tom and Nicole are accomplishing with making escape rooms not just about puzzles and escaping but leaving changed with how stories can leave such an immersive strong feeling. The way they use all their space with going back to rooms you’ve been through to their non linear and linear puzzle pathways. I’m just in love with this company. I’m a Nocturne Adventure Fan for Life ❤️

My husband and I completed Nevermore today and it was one of the best escape rooms we have done. The themeing was immersion and we felt like we stepped back in time. The puzzles were unique and the 'characters' fit perfectly into the story. 100% recommend.

Awesome room. We are enthusiasts and felt it was challenging and didn't have any bad puzzles, which is very rare. Hosts were amazing and we love the stickers we got at the end!
