It really comes down to the fact that it is a single-track room with zero story and weak atmosphere. If you are an escape room Pokémon trainer that wants to catch them all, do this room otherwise do this locations other experience because it is hands down better. The GM was very nice, and I appreciate a small town offering something like an escape room in a town that probably struggles to support it but this room was incredibly mid.

Thank you for your review. As we do have a majority of our players come that have never played a room- we tend to try to offer linear (one track?) rooms. Sorry you did not enjoy your journey through the scariest movies of our time to earn your Oscar trophy. We will definitely be training our GMs to ensure they are telling you the story.

Too many puzzle components that were connected to other puzzles and made the whole thing confusing in a not fun way for an otherwise completely linear room. The last puzzle was fun and unique.

So sorry you did not like this room. We do not reuse puzzle components in this room so apologize if you felt that way! The overall theme is scary movies so yes it may appear they are connected to more than one puzzle, but they are not!
