Escaping Death Row

Fun, and enjoyable. Definitely makes you think about your surroundings, and pay attention to the small things.

This was my favorite of the three rooms break out has. I would say the puzzles were fun challenging vs frustrating challenging. Some fun surprises along the way that not a lot of escape rooms have.

The room was fine, if not unoriginal, but actually what made me dislike the room was the GM. He gave us the same clue once and didn’t seem to be paying attention. It appeared he was the only person working there even though three rooms were going. He was also borderline rude several times, and got a bit of an attitude when I asked him to repeat the clue. I don’t live in SC, but if I did, I wouldn’t come back.

A pretty decent game. On the surface, the same, but your typical jailbreak Capron. However, it was pretty extensive and more elaborate than I thought. The puzzling was pretty solid and a good flow. There were quite a number of things to figure out, so good for 4 people. Come for their steampunk Wild West room, but if you have time, do this one as well. It's solid.

The game master was engaging and funny and super helpful. The room had decent atmosphere, and my group had a good time laughing and working through it together. That is about all the good things I have to say. With almost every puzzle the concept was there, but it was executed very poorly. I felt as if every part of the room was escape room on a budget, and not a very high one at that. There were multiple points where the game master had to enter the room and fix the puzzles because they did not work. This room is a good time with good people, but do not expect one of the best escape rooms out there.

The game master was fun, funny, and engaging. The atmosphere of the room added to the fun of the game. The puzzles were conceptually beautiful. However, many of the puzzles felt low-budget in execution and caused problems during gameplay that had to be fixed by the gamemaster entering the room to reset them.

A lot of physical locks. The only non physical lock was a very tedious temperamental ordeal. Lovely environment though! GM was ... Very rude numerous times. Good with hints though and getting us through spots where we got stuck.

Nice mix of team based physical puzzles with more subtle detail orientated puzzles. Couple problems really needed some lateral thinking to figure out. The game was also well balanced with some time consuming puzzles that had a great mix of fun with a hint of frustration. None of the time taking problems were not offensive.

Definitely their hardest game. It was fun, but fairly basic. You need at least two people, but 3 is probably the ideal number.
