Only the Worthy Shall Wield the Sword! Long ago, King Arthur and his knights sealed the legendary sword Excalibur within stone, leaving behind a series of magical trials for future heroes. With Camelot in need of new protectors, your team must enter the enchanted halls of a forgotten castle and face the challenges within. Excalibur won’t yield to brute strength; only those who rise to the trials and show true worthiness may pull the sword from the stone.

A great experience! Drove up DC and had a great time. The room was very intuitive and the staff were all very welcoming.

We loved this room! We did it as a duo with 30ish escape rooms under our belts. It was immersive and creative. The way that they measure passed time, and their hint system, both keep it immersive. We had 2:49 left on the clock and we got 2 "hints" which were both basically "look harder over there." Overall we loved the room and will return to ClueIQ for more!

We really enjoyed the theming of this room! The “timer” and way to ask questions were very unique. Some of the puzzles were pretty easy to figure out and others were a little more “outside of the box” thinking. We had a great time!

Thanks so much for the review! We're glad the set design stood out — creating that medieval atmosphere was a major focus for us. We definitely understand how a few traditional locks can stand out, especially to experienced players. That said, in Excalibur, less than half of the puzzles lead to a combo lock. Behind the scenes, there are over 90 inputs and outputs running lighting, sound, effects, and sensors hidden within props and the environment — all designed to support a variety of interactions that feel natural to the story and setting. We’re always working to refine our experiences and will continue looking for ways to make the interactions and puzzle solving even more varied and engaging. Really appreciate you playing and sharing your thoughts — and we’d love to have you back for another adventure!

The puzzles were great. Our brains worked together really well and we blew through them. The set was gorgeous. All three of us pulled the sword at the same time. 😄

This room was really fun! It had a great theme and set design. I thought the puzzles were a little confusing, but could be because I wasn’t looking clearly (had a headache while doing this room).
