Mayfield Manor Escape Room

I want to write this review to inform future attendees of what to expect. This experience was designed under the scope of a popup escape experience, but exists as a permanent attraction at the Mayfield Manor. There are a few lite puzzles and some spooky decor, but the room is a bit plain for the most part. What bothered me most was that a couple of the existing puzzles had fatal flaws and design issues, one of which required our GM to come into the room and fix, mid-game. I loved the premise and hope the creators can build upon and improve their room, but I can't in good conscience suggest this attraction for fans of escape rooms. There is one saving grace in that if you can escape the room, there is a deal at the Haunted Mayfield Manor that allows you to traverse their haunted maze free of charge. I was very appreciative of this, and was happy we paid for a joint experience for the price of one. For the cheap price and decent joint experience, I'd be happy to come back and try the room again to see what's improved next time!
