Nothing strange or mysterious could happen in this drab corporate grayscape. No ancient power, no portal to another realm, and certainly no fantastical creatures of any kind…right? Book your internship today and redefine ordinary.

This game lands in my top 10 in the greater Boston area. (We’ve played over 500 rooms) Super unique theme, great game play, and overall a very whimsical experience! I can’t wait to see what rooms they create in the future!

The room had a very unique theme which we appreciate and some wow moments. The only downside was how easy the room was, we escaped in just over 20 minutes and paid a LOT of money to play. A few more puzzles would keep experienced players engaged for longer so they get their money's worth.
Novel, good flow, very linear

Hi Jess, if that is the only downside then I'm happy to tell you that you actually finished in 38 minutes and 6 seconds! We've never had a group finish in just over 20 minutes.

This is a fun room with some unique elements. The thumbs up is mostly for originality. After a tons of rooms, we appreciate a unique theme.

Super fun room! Unique tech added an unexpected element that added to the fun. Katelyn was a great game master!

I’ve done many escape rooms and don’t typically leave a review, but I have to commend the creators for putting together such a cute story, with surprisingly innovative puzzles.

A stronger contender for the best of Morty list! Added points for great story in a comfortably immersive setting.

My team and I can be rather critical of escape rooms, but a lot about this impressed us. The set design was excellent, there was a charming narrative and theming, it was a good implementation of a role-based room, and we couldn't stop talking about one particular surprise. The Stained Hourglass team also had a special game twist because we said it was our birthdays, which I've never seen done before and really enjoyed. Overall an awesome experience. Looking forward to trying their next room!
Really refreshing and engaging aesthetic contrast between different parts of the experience. The soundscape was well executed and really added to the experience. Several surprise moments really helped to keep us hooked and on our toes.
Yes
Good execution of a role-based room where roles were noticably different.
Really charming premise and plot

Good moments of surprise/sudden plot escalation, but not spooky or scary. Might briefly alarm a young child.

We finally played the Boring Office! Great story, unexpected and fantastic twists that both first timers and experienced enthusiasts will enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed our playdate with Katelyn and can't wait for her next adventure!

Super creative and whimsical room - such a delight! Likely to be on the shorter/ easier side for enthusiasts, but still well worth it in our opinion. Includes distinct rules and some adaptive difficulty. Our whole group loved it. We can't wait til they have more rooms to try!

A fun room with a novel theme and a couple of unexpected twists. Would be pretty crowded with more than 3-4 players. Nice sets, high degree of interactivity in the props, and some ha-ha funny moments along the way. Clearly inspired by Office Space but you really do not need to know that at all to get the room’s story. Do it for Milton! Recommended.
The hint system is quite entertaining!
Yes
I have never played another room inspired by Office Space, so I am glad to have had the chance to file all these old TPS reports.
Medium
The room is linear in terms of gameplay, but not in terms of layout / how you will move through the space. A few of the connections felt a bit underclued but the GM always got us right back on track with a properly vague hint.

It is intended to have a minimum of 3 players, but you can play with 2 if both of you have long arms. :)

Nothing inappropriate for children. A few of the set pieces do seem fragile, though, so only bring kids with good self-control so as not to accidentally break anything.

Mostly accessible, although a number of puzzle elements are very low to the ground. No crawling, but a fair amount of getting on the floor is required.
