It’s clear now that the visit to Tortuga was a mistake. Sailing under a common merchant flag, your orders were to gather supplies and return to the fleet. Port Royal would have been the smart choice, but considerably farther. On the other hand, Tortuga offered ways of purchasing the same goods for less. And with the money saved, you could spend a few days of mirth and merriment before returning to your captain, with no one the wiser. However, a group of pirates have taken advantage of your naivete. They grabbed you in the middle of the night, knocked you unconscious, and are keeping you in their storeroom until their ship is ready. Who can guess the plans of a pirate? But odds are, you’ll be thrown onto a slave ship and sent somewhere unpleasant for a lifetime of hard work with little to show for it. Unless you can escape before they return to claim you.

A good, family fun time! We liked the pirate vibe of the room. Some pretty interesting puzzles and just had one puzzle that gave us a challenge. Our fault for not being observant. We were able to get a groupon for this to save a bit of $$ and I would say that this was worth doing because of that. GM was really friendly and her positive energy got us ready to take on the room. Parking can be a bit of a challenge and ended up having to use the paid parking a block away. Overall, we thought the quality of the room was good and worth doing if you can find a groupon or maybe a weekday discount.

Great audio and a fun beginning! I disliked the inclusion of a certain red herring, but the puzzles and set were fun! Flavio was a great host and let us play the claw machines!

I always love an immersive experience and enjoy when theres new or unique puzzles being utilized. The room also integrates cute little pirates lore throughout the room for anyone who is into pirates. I did this room with my friend and we have done >10 escape rooms and it was good and fine with just two people.

Great Pirate theme…well kept up with only a little wear and tear. Room flowed well and had unique pirate themed puzzles *Seniors: bring your reading glasses, ask the GM to turn down ambient sounds if too loud. Use the light sources given to you.

This was my first time at PanIQ and a trait of their rooms I really enjoy is the response from the room when you complete a puzzle. Locks unlocking, magnets demagnetizing, keys smoothly turning; all of these satisfying details make the room that much more fun to solve. Me and my friend have done a handful of pirate themed rooms and this one explores some facets of life at sea others hadn’t. Killer atmosphere and vibrant props kept our group engaged and eager for the next solve. Though we got out handily, we had a great time exploring.

Super challenging and fun ! Jenna was our GM and she was beyond friendly and helpful ! Love this location. The owner really took the time to create a space that’s interactive and immersive.

Jake was a fantastic GM for all of our of the rooms. Flavio and Jonathan held it down on the back end. Of their 4 rooms, the kick off for pirates was great.

i played this room with my partner for date night and we had a really fun time! our game master lizzie made the experience extra memorable. unique start to the room and so much to explore. sometimes you’ll do something in one area the room and it’ll effect something somewhere else, so be on the lookout! don’t forget to touch and explore EVERYTHING - definitely a rookie mistake I found myself making! can’t wait to continue to check out the awesome rooms paniq has to offer!

Really enjoyed this room. 3 of us managed to escape with only one hint and 10 minutes left on our timer. All of us are semi experienced.
