Wizard Trials

Having played a good number of rooms, a good wizard theme always hits the spot. Some things were similar to other rooms - like a giant mushroom and making a bubbling stew, but those are trademarks for a reason. The first room felt like a Harry Potter homage without the transphobia and casting spells with wands felt especially second-nature with the props we were given. Plus I got to wear a cool hat.

Fun room with interactive wands and unlimited clues if you need em. Also displays the time remaining. Puzzles were challenging but fun, did end up needing two clues for the room. Not as many puzzles as other rooms I've done. Totally doable for two people.

The theming of this room was excellent! I personally had a harder time with this room but my teammates were amazing and we got it done in 30 minutes. The room was very techy and not manual so it added to the magical nature of the room. It had some puzzles unlike I’d ever seen before (I’ve done almost 30 rooms).

We were all in awe when we first stepped inside - for the most part. I’d get rid of the office ceiling and the bookshelf. It was fun using the wands for the puzzles, I wish there was more of that! There was not a lot of context on some of the puzzles so it was a bit of a slow start. The puzzles were gen 3 meaning no locks or keys. It’s a good solid room. Marz and Flavio were our hosts and they were great!

Very cute, pretty easy, but still fun!

This was a fun and quirky room that perfectly matched the wizard theme! We finished it with two people, and the room’s mostly linear design makes it a great choice for escape room newbies. Our game master, Jenna, was fantastic—super patient and quick to provide helpful clues when we needed them.

Great atmosphere for an escape room. There are a lot of tech usages in this room, making the puzzles fun to do and adding to the whimsical nature. The tech is well implemeted and probably the most tech usage out of the rooms at this location. Story is pretty good. Overall the room is a bit more difficult than the other rooms here I would say, but most of the difficulty comes from the second room, ramping up the difficulty significantly over the first room. Once again shout out to our game masters Jenna, Jonathan, and Flavio.

Require me to use a wand to solve your wizardy puzzle and you've instantly scored bonus points. Loved the immersive set and the puzzles were a good challenge for us. Another top notch set from PanIQ with perfect sound effects and lighting for ambience. Also, house points to Jenna for being a great GM!

Super fun! Lizzie was very helpful and nice! Great production design and fun puzzles to solve too! Highly recommend!
