An old school friend, Lewis Salinger, has tracked you all down through Facebook and invites you on a holiday of a lifetime. You can see by his Facebook profile that he has amassed incredible wealth since leaving school and you’re excited at the prospect of the trip. The invite promises a week you will never forget including picking you up on his private jet and flying you to meet him at his mansion in the Caribbean. However, when you get there, your trip turns into a nightmare. Unbeknown to you, the plane is not traveling to the Caribbean at all, but a private landing strip somewhere in South America. The high-security section of the mansion is designed to keep people in, but if you don’t escape you know you run the risk of becoming part of a dangerous drug cartel and could face a life behind bars if caught. You soon realize there’s enough evidence to capture the drug lord once and for all - if you could deliver that evidence to the police back in the US, you could be heralded a hero forever. Act quickly to gather evidence and escape the mansion. You only have one hour before your fate is sealed forever! Will you choose to turn the drug lord in? Or will you become an important member of his operation? The choice is yours to make, and time is of the essence!

The room design wasn’t great. And the puzzles didn’t really make sense with the story in some cases. Also I’ve done 2 rooms here now and I’ve realized that their rooms have a theme of having puzzles that you don’t even understand that you solved it. There’s a decent amount of things that you will kind of lay out and then it’s solved, there’s no satisfaction of locking it in, or turning something to assure you that you have completed the puzzle. Leaving you confused and wondering. Coming back to that thing and not realizing that it’s solved. I like seeing a room that has a flow where all puzzles really make sense with a storyline. This one didn’t feel that way. It felt super random and some of the stuff was too out there for (in my opinion) the common person to figure out. Especially with how beat up the room was, there was stuff faded that I was trying to read after realizing that one thing that was faded tripped us up. Just not a good experience.
Not a great flow
It was lackluster
We showed up a little late (4mins) and she told us she has to take time away from the room. Then when she explained the room to us she told us we were the only people in the whole place… then why would u shave time?
Yes
There was a part that has stuff circled and it was rubbed off for us so we took a long time

Well… This room should have ranked middle of the pack Pi l compared to everything else we’ve played (190+ rooms) but when you add in multiple puzzles that didn’t work right and a couple of head-scratching leaps in logic, it quickly fell to the bottom 10%. I wasn’t happy by the end of the game. On average, my wife and I might ask for a clue 2 or 3 times a game. We had to ask over a dozen times here. Also, most (but not all) puzzles fit the theme, but they didn’t really create a cohesive story.

Escapology usually has some good rooms. We've done a few of them and they have been pretty good quality. This particular escape room had a sudden left turn that doesn't make sense for the theme of the room. I think if they do a little work on it, it would be better. Overall, still a fun room.
Like I said in the overall comments, if they work on the theme in one specific part better, it would be an even better room.

It was fun, it felt like your average escape room with a cool theme.
It was good, especially in that first room when you match the posters to the shapes, but that phone puzzle was confusing for no reason.
It didn’t feel completely immersive, but it was cool. multiple rooms, and the props were fitting to the theme.

Hard
Mechanical
It was just normal, no crazy tech, but nothing really mechanical either…

I would say five for the difficulty, but it felt kind of small for even 3 people.
Not scary
