Mafia: The Golden Ring

This was our second room at Adventure Rooms, and it was just as good, if not better, than the first. The theming was excellent, the puzzles were fun, although we were expecting a bigger challenge from a 5/5 difficulty.

Friendly staff here, Chelsea (i think that was her name) was very welcoming. Mafia was a delightful game with a strong theme and story. It had many inventive puzzles that always had a strong connection to the theme and story. We had a lot of fun with this one.

As a seasoned escape room enthusiast, this was by far, the hardest room I have experienced. Puzzles were challenging and well-crafted, however, the ratio of time to the number of puzzles was inadequate. This room, to complete successfully for many players, would require at least 1hr15mins or more. I was highly impressed with the quality of these puzzles- but was unsatisfied with the hint system. We are unable to ask for hints ourselves, and game masters rely on the verbal/non-verbal cues to decide when they believe players require hints. Overall, it was a great experience and escape room, with a few minor issues on my part. I do recommend this room for highly-experienced players and groups of 4+!

Tricky room but always love adventure rooms escape rooms!

We were visiting Melbourne for the weekend and always like to try a local escape room wherever we visit. The four of us really enjoyed this one as it kept us busy for the whole time and needed regular communication. The puzzles were challenging enough to keep us engaged but also logical. Highly recommend!

Just a super solid escape room both in story and set design. The puzzles were mostly logical and they did their best to immerse it in the setting. It was a bit difficult for only two people given the amount of things to do, but with a bit of extra time, we were able to clear it. We really enjoyed this one!

I am so glad I went! I was umming and aahing about going to Mafia because I had previously done 1 escape at this place and despite being fun, I remember it being not as tricky as I thought it would be. Oh boy was this tricky! But in the best way. The puzzles were fun and actually quite inventive. Required lots of teamwork and communication. I'm glad I went with my husband because we knew exactly who was good at what elements, and we did manage to escape, but the GM gave us an extra couple of minutes to finish it. More rooms than dxpected (what I love to hear!!) Highly recommend!

My eleven year old and I completed this room. The room would definitely suit a minimum of two experienced players or more than two players. Definitely one of the more challenging rooms we have done. Great puzzles. The Game Master was awesome and gave us a few more minutes so that we could finish the room. We did utilise the clues they gave along the way.

Great room. Challenging though. There are very few rooms we dont get out of in time but this was one of them. But it was not because of poor puzzle design. The puzzles were great, they were just that little bit harder than most. A great room tlfor those that like a challenge. Fortunately they gave us a few extra minutes to finish the room. The story made sense and so did the puzzles. The staff were great. There was no wow moment in the game but thats more of an icing on the cake when you get that then required to make a great room. Worth doing and a must for escape room enthusiasts.

Such a good room. Great puzzles, very logically laid out, and great atmosphere/room design. Would definitely recommend for intermediate to advanced players.
