You look up from unwrapping your favorite chocolate bar as the TV blares: “News flash! Billy Bonka – successful Chocolatier, Inventor, and Innovator, has gone missing! Troubled, you turn your attention back to your treat, and gasp as you pull back the foil to reveal a Golden Ticket…this can’t be a coincidence… Bonka’s success has made him a target for less innovative competitors, and it comes to a head in this new game from Conundrum Escape Rooms, when the candy maker disappears under mysterious circumstances. Your team, having found one of Bonka’s shiny invitations in your latest chocolate bar, arrive at the factory, but you’re not quite sure what to expect. Experience Bonka’s factory as you race to uncover the truth about what has happened to Bonka, and, if possible, save the day…and the chocolate!

This was the first escape room me and my girlfriend did. We needed a lot of hints and did not escape. I think this one would be better for a group bigger than two since there are multiple puzzles that can be solved at once. I still enjoyed the experience regardless of our progress/difficulty. Since this one we now know to ask if a room is good for just two people ahead of time.

This was a fun room! We played with a group of newbies and escape room veterans. This room was perfect for this because it’s non-linear, so there was always something for everyone to work on. There was also a lot of fun tech!

Non-linear room tricky for 2 people to complete. 1-2 puzzles were frustrating to complete but overall fun game play

That was a fun one! Great immersion with the wonderful set design. New puzzles. Great high tech puzzles!! I’d say three people for sure. Non linear and everyone can work on something different at the same time. Lots of fun, unique puzzles. And yes. Some are a little time sucky but hoping they fix that part. But a really fun room!

Myself and five 12 year olds had fun, but were also challenged making it out of this room. GM awarded us with some candy at the end of the game.
Non-linear gameplay allowed the kids to scattershot work on various puzzles to move forward.
Fun Willy Wonka vibe. Bright, colorful, silly.

This was a really fun and well designed room. The set design was amazing and definitely achieved the whimsical fantasy setting you’d expect from a room with this theme. All the puzzles were very unique and a bunch that I’d never seen before. The room can be done with any number of players, but like the website says, I’d highly recommend at least 3-4 people since it is a non linear room with many puzzles. We did it with just 2 people and came within 2 puzzles of completing it, so with 1-2 more people, we would’ve been able to escape.

Go for the absolutely beautiful and fun set design! Some puzzles are a bit tricky, but the awesome GM helped us when needed and made sure we got help when appropriate. So cute!
