I really wanted to like this game. Based on previous reviews and having played all the games at their other location (Escape 101) we didnβt have high expectations, but we were still let down. Staff was friendly, but we asked to only get clues when asked, and we kept getting unsolicited help! They made almost no effort to make the set look like Stranger Things. You know exactly where the puzzles are because all the game wiring runs inside the walls - just follow the conduit! One puzzled didnβt work so they had to come into the room to fix it - and couldnβt. Iβm an escape room builder so I showed them how to bypass the puzzle just so we could get back to playing. Lots of loose wires and a couple broken things shouldnβt happen to a room this new. They took our picture but we never got it in the email - but they provided links requesting reviewsβ¦ We played because of a discount, but may not bother going back - even at the $15pp discount.
Gameplay
Almost all linear, and only ONE puzzle was actually related to the Stranger Things series. Same owners as Escape 101 and it looks like they actually put LESS effort into this location. Itβs a bunch of games you can buy online and they assembled them into a generic office space.

Great Stranger Things room! It was so fluent and easy to follow as you make your way through, if you solve the puzzles and know the Stranger Things story that is :) All puzzles made sense once solved. No silly human-created difficulty thatβs just impossible to βsolveβ.
Gameplay
This room was very fluent. All puzzles made sense and it was very easy to flow from one to the next and so on. We really enjoyed this room.
Atmosphere
It depends on what your expectation is. We loved it and were very impressed by the set design, props, and puzzles that were right on with the Stranger Things theme.
