I really enjoyed this room. The theme is both fun and well-presented, with some puzzle solutions reinforcing the theme. The scary nature of the aliens makes it seem like a horror room but it wasn’t prohibitively scary to the point it should put anyone off, although it might be a little grisly for young kids. With an immersive ambiance and puzzles that reinforce the theme, this room left us happy and feeling like we’d been transported, which is my favorite part of a room like this. Recommended!
Gameplay
While it had some standard puzzle types, it also included some fun and original puzzles of both the thinky and physical manipulation variety. Nothing felt unfair or obtuse, and the experience was fun.
Atmosphere
This room drips with the sci-fi theme. With cool lighting, custom paneling, and some sci-fi props, it was easy to get immersed in the story. It all looked great.

The story was straightforward, but conveyed the overall theme well. It’s a scary, violent alien threat that you are trying to survive, and the story serviced that concept well.

The theme of violent aliens made for some tension, but there are no live actors to pop out at you. Our group, some of whom do not like horror themes, were uncomfortable with one diorama but otherwise were able to handle it fine.
