We found the puzzles in this room to be quite challenging. The game master, Jim, was great at giving just enough of a hint to help us figure them out. The room was very clean and everything worked properly (a nice combination of manual and tech locks. Lights are dimmed but this jail is not dark....the alien part is just part of the story and some use of lasers (no aliens in the room). No climbing or crawling required. They will do their best to accommodate disabilities. Customer service is high priority here. Check out the cute and quaint ice cream/candy shop next door for a treat afterwards (as a reward if you escaped your room or a consolation prize if you didn't.....so you end up scoring a sweet treat either way! lol)

I would call this room and it's puzzles modernly nostalgic.....a nice blend!
Atmosphere
Slightly dim...not dark dark. Old west theme with a little modernization.
Customer service
Absolutely terrific!!!! They obviously prioritize customer service!

There were a few distractions and red herrings built in. The jail cells were very nicely done.
Story
The alien part was more part of the story line and puzzle functionality. The room is old west theme.

Ideal number of players
We always play as a couple. One or two more people may have gotten further as there's a lot to do but more than that might get a bit crowded. To each their own!

Not scary for most people. You do start in a closet-sized jail cell so if you tend to be claustrophobic that might bother you.

This is really hard to "guesstimate" because children vary greatly in their development levels. I would refer you to the owners since they've watched children of different age levels actually in this room. At least one person will need to be able to reach up to about 6' off the floor.

No fair, Morty!!! You asked if anything was broken.....and then asked if they handled it well.....and then gave only one Yes/No to the whole thing. No...there was not anything broken. Yes, they handled everything well.

The game master may pop in the door if needed but no live actors here.

No stairs or ladder to climb. No crawling. No moving furniture or heavy lifting. Everything is doable and reachable from a simple standing position with a little reaching, bending, squatting, or stooping.

Please ask the establishment....they will do everything possible to accommodate everyone.

It helps to call first.....they'll tell you how to easily find their building and adjoining parking (free parking on the street and in the lot directly behind the shop. The building is located downtown but very easy access.
