Seance

My partner and I had an amazing time experiencing The Cool Space’s first escape room, Seance. The atmosphere, setting, live actor, and storyline had us on the edge our seats the entire time. Very unique puzzles that fit the storyline perfectly. Very keen on what The Cool Space has to offer next!

The atmosphere within this room was brilliantly engineered. Despite knowing this is a mostly seated escape room, we had no idea what to expect at every stage of the game. The puzzles are all enjoyable and well suited to the theme.

Had an absolute fun doing the seance today Usually single room escape rooms raise an eyebrow but was pleasantly surprised with how this experience went down. It's definitely a unique experience with things usually a short distance away from the seat. Have to say the puzzles were innovative enough that it kept us on our toes. The set design and atmosphere are great. Extra props to the designers for completely blocking out all the lights and getting us immersed in the room. Along with the sound design which was top notch. It's also great to have any "do not touch" stickers within the room as it feels like the owners trust us as the escapees with the puzzle not to touch anything that doesn't need to be touched. It's also great for immersion. Me and my partner were able to complete the room with some time to spare and have a great conversation with owners to learn more about escape rooms and the puzzles in the seance. Would highly recommend!

All the reviewers before me say it all. Very clever, very original and very good. It also shows a good escape room doesn’t require high budget tech and expensive props.

Loved it. Unique take on the escape room that I was skeptical about until I actually experienced it. Our group has varied response to live actors but everyone loved it and it wasn’t too scary. Can’t wait for more of their rooms to open. Recommend ++.

What a truly unique and fun experience. We had some reservations about the whole game taking place in a single room where you remain seated the whole time, but the designers ingeniously kept the game engaging, atmospheric and immersive with a cool storyline, varied puzzles that fit flow and fit the theme, and some well-timed scares that my kids (11 and 12) had no problems with. Definitely a worthwhile experience for newbies and enthusiasts alike. Can’t wait for their new room!

Excellent concept. I was genuinely I'm sure how this was going to work sitting around a table, but it meant that the puzzles were very unique. I wouldn't rate this room as particularly difficult, considering that two of us got out in 42 minutes. However for the pure novelty of the experience, one of the best rooms in Sydney.

By far our favourite room of all time. Seance is so unbelievable polished. You can tell there has been a lot of love and effort put into the creation of this room. Such a cool premise, the entire room is happens entirely around a table as you try to communicate with a spirit. A few jump scares, but you can see them coming and close your eyes if needed (like my wife did). I only wish we could forget the puzzles and do it again.

An incredibly unique and immersive game. Suitable for experienced players and those new; very logical and flowing puzzles with a few scares along the way!!
