Westower's Study

This was the second of two rooms we did today. This was better than three first room we did in some sense but lacking in others. Pros: the set, while shabby, was spacious and gave you the feel of bring in an eccentric man's home. The puzzles were a fun combination that really made us think and I really appreciated the variety. We had issues with a trunk not being reset. They quickly came in and relocked it for us. Our two real issues were a key that seemed to open nothing. We learned later that the key was intended to open something but it was either not locked properly or the lock is faulty. We ran around wasting time trying to figure out what it opened. Overall, I enjoyed this room but feel it could be time for a refurbishing.

The room was very spacious and well lit. Good puzzle flow with old school puzzles and actually lasted longer than most rooms for us. We loved the bonus clue concept which made us use one clue (which in our minds was none other than:)

Consistent theme throughout. Heavy traditional lock room with minimal tech. Puzzles were interesting and pretty intuitive without being super easy.

The puzzles were ambiguous, so hints were required for the wrong reasons.

This was a great room! Lots of fun! Puzzles made sense and made you think. Nothing high tech here.
