Overall we had a good experience, and the staff is always great!

We had some technical difficulties in this room, which was pretty frustrating because we wasted time thinking we were wrong. We finally broke down and asked for a hint, and the GM was fantastic about it, apologized for the glitch, and put the time back on the clock.

You definitely need more than one person for this room, but as it’s a small room, not more than three people.

The gameplay is pretty linear; once you get going you shouldn’t really be wondering what comes next.

My group played this room on opening day. This facility marketed this room too quickly because it was delayed so much due to technical difficulties.

With all this said, I know you’re not suppose to play a room as soon as it’s available because it will most likely change down the road due to user feedback. However, our group was really excited to play it and we were left with disappointment and confusion.

We were the third group to ever play this room and after we finished, we talked to the GMs about what they could have done better and they took notes to tell their bosses. It seems like the GMs fight for what they believe could be done better but the owners seem to not do anything about it. So hopefully this room gets better as they get more feedback.

Here are my thoughts on the room: The space is so small and the GM told us that they think only 2-3 people can play this room at a time. Our group of 4 did play it but again it’s a small space.

Also, I never knew what was happening at any time because there really wasn’t a story. The AI would tell you and have written text on the screen but then it would go away and if I wasn’t paying attention then I wouldn’t know what the heck was going on.

One thing that we pointed out to the GM were some things that didn’t make sense. She straight up told us they were red herrings…red herrings really shouldn’t be in escape rooms. That’s how you quickly find a good escape room vs a bad escape room. Hopefully they will fix this. At one point we had a stick looking thing and we had no idea where to put it so we found holes in the ground and began poking the holes…lol that was obviously incorrect and I found where it was suppose to go. We brought this up to the GM as well because the player could accidentally break something.

All in all, it felt rushed and very buggy. The Ozark Escape Conway location is much better in terms of everything and I have no idea why.
