18th century China. Within the high red walls of the Forbidden City, the old Emperor lies dying. A golden scroll contains the name of his heir. You have one hour to make your way to the guarded throne room, change the name on the scroll and claim the Dragon Throne for yourself. But in a power-hungry court full of whispers and bitter rivalries, you'll have to be both quick and clever to change the destiny of an empire and rise to ultimate power.

101 escape rooms
The 90th room I have played and the first I have ever walked out of. Firstly there was a piece of tech hanging off the wall disconnected – this was literally the moment we got in and the staff blamed us which we didn't appreciate. After 90 games, why would we disconnect a mag lock? As other reviews mention on both Morty and Escape the Review, the theming is poor and little sign posting. It just didn't feel fun or well themed and you shouldn't need to go through a dull room to find a better area. First impressions count and sadly this one wasn't for us at all. A true shame as it's great to have an independent company.

Fun room, Chinese theming. Not great theming in the first room but still good props, second and third room had fun props and pretty good theming. Largely mechanical and low tech. One flight of stairs to get to room, a few stairs to get in.
