46 escape rooms
We're back in time during World War II, tasked by the resistance movement with stealing blueprints of an enemy submarine. Someone came up with the brilliant idea of getting captured so they could access the office where the drawings are hidden. In hindsight, perhaps not the wisest plan, as you now find yourself handcuffed and locked in a small jail cell. Fortunately, you have one hour before the office owner returns to begin questioning—so it might be a good idea to break out, steal the plans, and escape within the time limit. The room begins with pairs of players chained together, presenting natural challenges since you only have one free hand to search through things and must constantly be aware of your "handcuff buddy"—a quirky and fun gimmick. The room is styled as an office, and most of the items fit well within the illusion. However, there are a few elements that feel slightly out of place. There are many nice details and the puzzles have a good level of difficulty, but you need to stay sharp not to miss key clues along the way. This is Escape Factory’s most difficult room. Looking at their high-score list, only four teams had completed it before ours, while their other rooms had ten teams (you must complete the room without any hints to make the scoreboard), so it definitely demands focus and keeping your cool under pressure.
