You are approached by the cabin boy with an offer “These scurvy dogs keep me as their bloody swabber, never to be a pirate. Come aboard, find the secret booty, and take the lot! That’ll show those bilge rats!” Join us on our escape room adventure, but beware, the pirates return from their rum party in one hour and if they find you plundering, they’ll make you walk the plank! Godspeed!

42 escape rooms

This is a cute one.

Gameplay

Fairly linear, though you do need to use process of elimination for figuring out which codes go to which locks (majority are four digit codes). One puzzle we couldn't quite figure out, so we had to guess on a couple numbers in order to get that lock open. I thought the use of blacklights were pretty fun.

Atmosphere

Pretty well decorated, though there isn't a separate ceiling for the escape room. The building is also an arcade, mini golf, and haunted house during October, so the haunt sections are repurposed into escape rooms during the off season. The ceiling is very high, and you can still hear the echoes of clamor while doing the room. I wouldn't say that's a deal breaker, but something to be mindful of.

Customer service

Very nice and fun staff.

Cool magnet puzzle, and black usage was neat.

There were several issues with the puzzles in this room and with how the room was set up. Many number locks with no indication which puzzle went with which lock.

A lot of fun doing this room. Highly suggest everyone come and try the room.

Gameplay

It was fun and did challenge us. Loved the decor and atmosphere.

Atmosphere

I thought the way our game master talked with us was very cool and fit with the room. Well done!

Customer service

Captain Jack did a great job at letting us work things through and helping only when we really needed a boost. The guys who own and work here welcomed us as we walked in and were fun to talk to. These rooms mean a lot to them and they want them to be the best. David was good.

Minimum age

9

Nothing scary to this room that kids couldn’t be involved but challenging puzzles could need some adult help. However sometimes kids see things in a different way and can do things adults struggle with.
