Wow This is how you do a 1 room experience Just blow away with the mix of technology, game flow and immersion. Great room for a group or a couple for a date night This location has one of the nicest lobbies and a full bar so make a date night out here - play a few rooms and grab a cocktail between games Lovely staff and the owners are wonderful people; had a chance to meet and talk after the game (thanks for your time Chris) We will definitely be back Tidbits: Easy parking Delightful staff Very comfy lobby with a bar Plenty to do in the area

This was a very fun diversion on a week night with friends and family. This room was easy enough that our young nieces could participate in solving the puzzles. It was fairly non-linear as well, so we had multiple teams working on puzzles at the same time.

This game was so fun and had a great atmosphere. I loved how the puzzles were clever. The game really flowed well and was well thought out! The room was well maintained. We had a great time!

This was our first experience with Timed Out & what an amazing time. I know the White Rabbit Society game at Exit Games gets a lot of attention (and deservedly so), but I would argue this game may be on equal ground. The set design (a Magician's studio) is spectacular & the magic themed puzzles are spot-on. This isn't an easy room, so bring your thinking caps! The puzzles overall are intuitive with a very nice flow to it all. Several of their other rooms are just as great, although THIS is the one that you come to do. Put this room on your wishlist. It's one of the BEST in the Charlotte area.

Illusion has a great atmosphere with challenging, nonlinear puzzles. Timed Out has a great service team that greeted us and chatted before our game. Our game master, Max, did a great job and guided us when we needed help.

We were very disappointed by this room. The intro video was hard to hear and the game master had to tell us several things we should not touch. Things seemed fairly disconnected from each other, something was hard to read, some props were worn, and the "special effects" did not do anything besides look cool (the first time). Lastly, our game master provided overt clues without us asking for them.

I’ve always had a soft spot for stage magic so I really enjoyed the theming here. A lot of inventive elements, and very tactile. They really got a lot of puzzles into a single room, some of which were quite tough, but I appreciated that the GM gave us nudges in the right direction for hints rather than just telling us what to do. One critique is that there were remnants of a discontinued puzzle still in the room, which proved a bit distracting at times. Overall had a good time!

This was such a fun room. Even though most of their puzzles have just locks, they were still unique and very fun. Would highly recommend this one

Overall a fun room. The decor was great and there was one puzzle we’ve never seen before. It was a very 4/5 digit lock heavy room which was frustrating at times. Our game master was great and attentive which helped. A fun room for enthusiasts but I think it would be frustrating for anyone newish to escape games, there were just too many lock options.
