At the top of a hill, at the far edge of town, Stands a house where a family, was once happily found. The brickwork is crumbling, the paint is all peeled, The windows are boarded, and the front door is sealed. The grass is all dead, as if ravaged by drought. No one goes in, and no body comes out. But on a very clear evening, if your view is just right, If you squint and look carefully, you might see a light. At the tippety top of the rickety tower, Swings the loneliest lantern, and it burns for one hour. No one knows how it gets there, or who puts it out, But it indicates someone, or something’s about. And up at the peak, in a thick misty shroud, Brews a storm that’s becoming alarmingly loud. A dark cloak of droplets, punctured by brightening, A clap, and a boom! And mad stabs of lightning! The thunderclouds creep, t’ward the town more each night, And slowly, our hamlet’s succumbing to fright. And when the squall passes, if none of you speak, You can listen, and hear what begins as a shriek. It pierces the moonlight and rattles your bones, And as fast as it comes, it descends, into moans. It carries for miles, scares each man, child, and mouse, Is something alive in that creaky old house? A prisoner? A monster? A criminal kind? There’s no hint and no clue, no suggestion nor sign. So please, take a look, And see what you find, In the abandoned estate, Of one Franklin, N, Stein

Fantastic room. The interactiveness, tech, and a few puzzles haven’t really seen before in other places really make this one a standout.

I recently visited an escape room that was nothing short of amazing. The high-tech elements truly set it apart, making the experience both immersive and engaging. Our host, Candice, was exceptional—her guidance and support were invaluable throughout the game. Her enthusiasm and assistance ensured that we had a fantastic time. If I could rate her, it would be a perfect 100 out of 100. Overall, this escape room experience was top-notch, thanks in no small part to Candice's outstanding contribution.

We absolutely loved this room! We played as a foursome with two tweens and loved every moment. Very interactive, so much to discover, amazing set design… a must do!

Very fun and well thought out. We only got hung up on one puzzle really. After a clue we progressed through most of the difficult ones, but that one had us stuck and part of it was a sensor was a bit finicky, but it didn’t diminish the experience for us, it was still really fun.

Our GM was very good, probably our second best we ever had. She was enthusiastic and got into character when starting us off. We liked her very much.

🧟♂️The Mysterious Miseries of Franklin N. Stein is another great room by the folks at Improbable Escapes! 🏠Great set, great props! A lot of intricate detail went into the creation of this room. I loved interacting with the set pieces. This is the kind of room that inspires me to embark on creative endeavours. 🧩 The puzzles were fun and varied! The signposting was great. It was clear what puzzles needed to be worked on, and how many puzzles you had remaining. The puzzle flow is non linear. 👯♀️ I played this room as a duo, but this would be a great game for a group of 4, as there is a lot of puzzle content. A particular challenge ate up a good chunk of our time, but the GM gave us 10 extra minutes, so we managed to escape. 👏🏽 This is my favourite room at this location, but all the rooms here are great!
