i love a high tech and themed room! this was so unique and fun. almost all of the puzzles were new to us. this was my 20th escape room.

While space is a pretty common theme, Cosmic Crisis is a great example of using technology to change how you approach different puzzles. There were only two physical locks with the rest being high tech. I loved the use of different props to solve puzzles, and the variety of the puzzles were awesome! Manager T and GM Lizzy are absolutely wonderful!

Space is a pretty common theme but this was done very well.

As usual, TEG knocked it out of the park with the set, including audio, lighting, video, and your interaction with the onboard computer. There were several amazing puzzles, and one that really stood out which could benefit from 4 players working together at once. We completed it with three, but two more hands would’ve helped. The reception person and GM were great and chatted with us for quite some time about escape rooms. My only complaint with TEG, is the fact that their games are still public, so we strolled in about 5 minutes before the start time and waited to book it until it was time and we were sure that we would have it as a private room. Come on guys at corporate, it’s time to stop this ridiculousness.
+1
Story driven (at least partially) and high tech.
As always, TEG kills it with their sets. Sounds, lights, props, and in this room, video, all come together perfectly.
The GM and reception person were both wonderful. We all chatted about escape rooms for quite some time.

Yes. The story was unique, the interaction with the ship’s computer was different, and I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of the puzzles.
Totally unique.

3-5 is probably perfect. There is one puzzle that we did with 3, but is better suited for 4 people at once.

I don’t think there are any aspects of the game that would prevent anyone with impairment issues from enjoying the game.

After doing all of the other readily available rooms from the Escape Game, we were able to play Cosmic Crisis, and despite the fact that the ratings haven’t been stellar for it; especially other The Escape Game locations the game was really good. Great set as always, and some really fun, incredibly thematic puzzles in a nice non linear space. Even though we never really used him, I also liked the clue system a lot, and having to make that tough final decision is a really neat thing from The Escape Game!

There were certain tech issues. The plot made it seem way more fun than the room

Fly through space with your team as you try and overtake a rogue AI from leading you all into a black hole. Save the ship and yourselves! Escape Game always has fun and great designs. I would just try and fill your entire room as they tend to have shared experiences which can make or break your game. But if you're running solo and just wanted to experience the room, I'd say go for it! Ideal size would actually probably be 4, but room allows up to 8.

Best space ship-themed escape room we’ve done so far! Very immersive with high-tech and fun puzzles requiring some physicality and teamwork, which we really enjoyed. There were even a couple of mechanisms we hadn’t encountered before, which was a treat given we’ve done about 250 escape rooms. We also appreciated that the storyline made more sense than most similarly themed rooms. We were a team of 3 enthusiasts who stuck together to do every puzzle so we wouldn’t rush through the room, and we got out with about 10 minutes to spare. Best part was that my team apparently attempted an ending that no one had tried before. We had a ton of fun and will definitely remember this room for a long time to come!

We were able to just play with a group of 3. One puzzle we spent the most time on, but didn’t realize we weren’t completing a step right, making the puzzle take forever. In the end very cool special effects, like another review said, felt like the Star Wars ride from Disney. Wish this company would keep all games private and we’d play so many more of the games.

FAVORITE ROOM OF ALL TIME! This is a 4th generation escape room with interactive technology and more immersive elements than ever. We went right when the room opened and WOW definitely an amazing experience that every escape room, space cadet, future lover should experience. It's very different from Gen-1 and Gen 2 escape rooms-- think of it more like Disney's Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run as an escape room adventure! We cannot recommend this room enough! Let's just say there's also an element of surprise decision making at the end that feels just like a movie ending.
Net-new and novel concepts that we have never experienced over 20+ escape rooms. This is first if its kind and definitely a first-class experience.
Fully immersive experience, really well designed and thought out to feel like you're on a space ship (or at least a really well designed movie set).

We didn't think this room was particular 'hard' even though it's rated as 7/10 from Escape Game because we're techies/engineers and the puzzles are very logical and well designed. They got every single element of this room right with enough hints and clues so the players (even the young kids) were not frustrated and enough elements to keep the game moving.
High tech
So much goodness going on here! It was clear that they used sensors (moisture, sound, light, etc) that we've never experienced in other rooms before.

We went with 3 adults and 3 elementary school kids. There was enough elements to involve everyone and enough responsive feedback to keep the kids engaged and solving the puzzles.

This is a favorite TEG escape room to date! It’s so hard to choose since the standard of the production value and puzzle value is so high. The set makes you feel like you're aboard a space station. All of the puzzles were thematic, high-tech, and tactile (I don't remember a single traditional letter/number lock). The only downside here is parking. Our group of 8 did this room on a Sunday afternoon, the weekend before Christmas. It was hard to find parking but once we were there, they were as accommodating as they could be to get us in the room! I would recommend 4 people at least for this room. This is definitely a room to play.
