Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang need your mystery-solving help…or else! The town of Crystal Cove and surrounding areas are being terrorized by monsters and ghosts, and now the local Baroness Maria Richman has gone missing and it is suspected that the ghost sightings have something to do with it! Tasked with solving the crime, you arrive at the same conclusion as Mystery Incorporated. But when you get to the Spooky Castle, Mystery Inc. gets locked out, at the same time you get locked in! You soon realize that they’re able to help by communicating clues via magic portraits inside the Castle. After discovering a secret dungeon and monster lab in the castle, you come to the conclusion that the person responsible almost certainly works in the castle - but who could it be as there are several suspects??

I really liked this room. By far the best one done at escapology. It flowed very nicely.

I’ve done a few escape rooms at this location and this was one of my favorites. It’s a very nostalgic and cute atmosphere. It was cool that they had the original voice actors giving clues. The puzzles weren’t overly difficult to figure out, and we made it out with plenty of time to spare. That being said, it was still a bit challenging, and we had a fun time. This would be perfect for families!
The atmosphere was so cute and nostalgic with all of the original voice actors giving hints!

Nothing was broken, there were just a few pieces that took a second to open because they were made of real wood so they stuck due to the weather. But it was taken care of immediately and did not take away from gameplay.

Loved the Scooby Doo theme of the escape room and the characters being on screen. Definitely worth doing, best room I’ve done at Escapology.

We didn’t escape but had a great time. (We aren’t hung up on escaping.) However, we were seconds from finishing the final puzzle. This game had a great variety of puzzles, all appropriately Scooby-Doo themed. The decor and props are very cartoony in a good way. There were multiple instances of the Mystery Inc. characters providing pointers as the game progressed. Our only challenge was a seemingly inattentive gamemaster that cost us several minutes. Clues are provided on a video monitor.

This room is one of the best in the greater Cleveland area. The Scooby Doo immersion and charm is prominent from start to finish - with real Scooby Doo voice actors prominent throughout and fun, wacky props and puzzles along the way. I played this room by myself and got out in about an hour and eight minutes (with lots of clues,) and while there is a lot going on at times, none of the puzzles are too terribly hard and I think it's a middle-tier difficulty, and right in the middle of the 5 Escapology North Olmsted rooms in terms of difficulty. Out of 20 rooms I've played at the time of writing, this one ranks 3rd. I highly recommend this room for everyone who likes Scooby Doo, escape rooms, and especially both!
