Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle Adventure

First, the employee was rude from the get-go about us being late even though we were 5 mins early but needed to wait on a few more people. While our group was complete (admittedly 5 mins late) he said multiple times he was going to take time off our experience. He even chided people for trying to go to the bathroom. But when he started explaining the room, he was making small talk and wasting time?! I thought we were in a huge hurry?! The escape itself is an incredibly high quality build. However, the puzzles are linear and not designed to divide up the work well. Multiple times we had people standing around with nothing to do. Having the full 8 people felt like too many people. Also, some of the puzzles are unusually unintuitive. At one point you have to peel some things off the wall, which is such a no-no in escape rooms, I never would have dreamt of even trying it. There were also some subtly marked items that were just impossible to see in the dimly lit room.

Wow, this room was fun! Felt like a kid again! It had 3rd generation & second generation like room! Loved the puzzles! The only thing I would say at the end is something, a puzzle was a little off which I think we actually escaped but time ran out..won’t say what to not contain spoilers but other than, awesome room.

Relatively easy room. The room was quite linear. Only one spot where we felt a clue was necessary to continue. The rest was solvable without assistance. All of the props worked exactly as expected. A solid room!

Loved the opportunity to play a Scooby Doo themed room! Hearing the voices of the characters brought me back to my childhood. It was an easier room (and a little smaller in size) so a group of 2 or a group with kids will probably enjoy this the most!

This was a fantastic fun room. First comment after was “this was one of the best rooms we’ve done in a long time.” Even our kids (7) enjoyed it. The theme was fun but the game play was good even beyond the theme.
