This was a very nice room! It's a darker room where you're given light sources to use (love-hate relationship). The theming was REALLY NICE. Puzzles were challenging and different. The only downside was that there was at least one puzzle that was a bit finnicky/buggy. We got the idea of what we had to do but the puzzle wasn't registering our solution correctly. Other negative was that it was kind of hard to hear the GM on the staticky speakers. We often had to ask him to repeat what he said, burning through more of our time. One puzzle was particularly difficult, but we brute forced the solution once we had a couple parts solved. The ending shocked me because you had to literally break a golden rule of escape rooms to end it. Without the buggy puzzle and subpar speaker system, this room would be pretty top tier.

Great theming. Harrison was a lovely host. But very unchallenging and inspite of the decor, not very engaging, sadly. For the price, especially, we wished we’d skipped this one.

Good room. It definitely relies a lot on the scenic design. I will say one of the puzzles was really frustrating and I think it might be near impossible without a hint. Additionally the room wasn't super straightforward. The special effects in this room were great. There are better rooms in the area that are more affordable.

Hurts me to say because we LOVED Perfumer so much, this room didn’t do it for us. The immersion was great, I loved the set and it felt very adventurous, but the puzzles themselves were frustrating, not in a challenging way, but we ran into a lot of tech issues/having to repeat things we did because it didn’t work/lack of clarity to what you needed to do. There is a specific puzzle in it that felt like it was meant to drive your time up. I will say that the beginning and ending have some really cool stuff, it mostly could have used more fun in the middle. If you’re deciding here between this room and Perfumer, I’d highly recommend Perfumer!

Had a blast, and Jasmin was a perfect GM! I’d recommend this room to anyone, but especially beginner friendly groups!

As someone who loves escape rooms, this is the 1 room I would tell everyone to AVOID!!! Red Giant is completely uninspiring and left us feeling bored and cheated. There was not a single β€œah-ha” moment or proper puzzle. There was no creativity in this room. It was torture. So many β€œpuzzles” were just a waste of time. I can’t believe we wasted our time and money on this room which I couldn’t wait to be over. There is no indication when something is accomplished, and the doors didn’t stay open. This room was entirely following instructions and walking in circles looking for things that may be relevant. Even going back to a previous room required us to use our fingernails to pull open the door. While the set design was cool, the puzzles and practicality didn’t match. An utter waste of time that no one should go through. I wouldn’t recommend to even beginners as this room could single-handedly make people despise doing escape rooms. Everything felt like a chore and the only redeeming factor came at the end. This room should have been demolished before we had a chance to book.

Red Giant is a fun and immersive room with amazing puzzles. Gabriel was a great game master and made the whole experience so much more fun! Definitely try it out!
