To escape with your lives, you will have to become a part of an interactive movie while solving elaborate puzzles. Your host will begin by introducing you to The Manager of our fine establishment, 'Escape Or Die' - you and your team are its newest employees. Throughout your experience, you'll receive information in the form of audio and video in addition to the usual physical clues throughout the room.

Escape or Die is a very fun design with clever puzzles and a well crafted set, we had a great time throughout. A truly unique room with a camp horror style that I’ve not really seen utilised anywhere else. The flow through was very clever giving us plenty of funny moments of realisation. The videos brought enough to the story whilst not feeling overbearing and tedious, a change I believe is semi-recent. A real shame they are closing up soon, I implore you to visit while it remains open.

Immersive setup and fun puzzles. Easily one of the best escape rooms in Melbourne. Highly recommended as this is an actual escape room - way better than their Ukiyo counterparts.

We went as a group of 5 people with mixed experience with escape rooms and we all loved this room. The storyline is very immersive and there was so many different types of puzzles and locks to solve. The GM was lovely and we had a great time. Highly recommend

A spooky themed escape room. Previously run by another operator, the current group bought over it last year and have apparently made some changes. One particular puzzle didn’t work, and even after we were given the answer, it still didn’t really make sense. The rest were fine though. The overall theming and experience held this together well.

Very story heavy. Be prepared to stop every so often to enjoy a well animated video, or a voice over. The story was awesome. The puzzles were really fun. And this is the only game that has ever given me a sincere sense of dread.

Some of the most fun I've had in an escape room! A one of a kind story and setting mashed together with some truly creative puzzles. Meeting the owner/creator beforehand who was really passionate about the industry made the experience even better. Although marketed as horror, there's still so many laughs to be had. Big yes from me.

Really enjoyed this room. As with other Ukiyo rooms, there was a strong story but this was definitely more of a traditional escape room with different puzzles to solve. Some different types of puzzles which were lots of fun. Definitely a thriller and not for kids. Gamemaster was great and we enjoyed a nice chat afterwards.
