Alone

This wasn’t a bad escape room to play. I will say though that this is not your typical escape room as it is more story-driven and focuses primarily on the storytelling piece. The story itself was pretty solid and made sense, and you wanted to know what happened next. There were some slow moments, but this room has some strong potential. There were quite a variety of puzzles to complete, but you really have to pay attention to detail. I would recommend a team of 2-4 players due to the physical space and the variety of puzzles. Overall, this was a pretty good escape room. Not necessarily my favorite one here, but definitely not the worst. It was a good experience!

Not your traditional puzzle-solving escape room. You‘d follow audio cues, perform some tasks/puzzles, then rinse and repeat. It’s one of their earlier built. It’s a single room game but does not feel like one with the creative use of the space and technology. While it has a really cool twisty storyline, the audio system was not very good so it was hard to follow along. Couple of puzzles did not make sense so that distracted from the gameplay a bit. Overall, I still recommend the game, but be prepared to be quiet and use all of your attention to follow along.

We heard that this business is under new ownership and all their rooms will soon be closed or modified, so we came in to play them before that happens and while they are discounted 40% off for the month of September! As noted by others, only do these rooms if you are ok with it being an immersive storytelling experience, rather than a traditional escape room. There are puzzles and things to figure out, but it is closer to a guided experience. With that framing in mind, I was able to enjoy these rooms. Alone was an interesting story with some unexpected twists and turns. It was the weakest of the 3 rooms we played here, I thought, (haven’t done Erin’s Diary yet, but I thought Edeline and The Dorm told their stories much more clearly). But I still enjoyed it. It was a creative story that had a different theme than I’ve seen in any other escape room, which always gets bonus points for me. The tech in here could use some improvements, but again, I liked the story. Would still recommend if you like immersive storytelling.

Not my favorite room, biggest compliment is that it felt that it was just overdrawn and kept going. By the 1 hour mark I was like are we done yet. It could be better by modifying the story to not continue to drag on. The story line was okay and had a nice little twist at the end but overall needs a bit of story modification to have a better flow.

Room looked amazing. Puzzles all looked amazing.

The story starts fine but by the end becomes increasingly convoluted and incoherent, and has many internal inconsistencies. This is not ideal for a story-focused room. The technology in the room is pretty cool though, and the set design was fine. As far as puzzles go, none of them are particularly difficult but they break various escape room golden rules (like not reusing puzzle elements more than once) which makes things more confusing than they need to be.

We absolutely loved this room! My dad and I (pictured) decided to do a little something different instead of our typical room and this was just what we were looking for! If you enjoy escape rooms already and are looking for a way to mix it up, I highly recommend this room. Our GM James was excellent and we found that the game was decently easy even without hints. Also, if you enjoy sci-fi based rooms, this borders perfectly between real life and fiction. This however is NOT simply an escape room based in puzzles. You must and I mean MUST enjoy the story in your rooms. It is absolutely intrinsic to listen to the story for hints, guidance, and general understanding of all that's happening. All that said, if you feel like any of this (and definitely the last point) applies to you, just do it!! :)

I really enjoyed Clouds Edeline and decided to ignore the reviews on this one as I really like story based puzzle rooms. I am a huge fan or rooms in Europe and most all are story driven. They did a lot with a small space and are so passionate about their rooms and the story. These are.rooms that you will have to immerse yourselves and follow the story so it will take work on your part. I say best for 2/3 players.
