118 escape rooms
This room is deliberately dark- so dark you can’t see to do the puzzles, and you’re advised from the start to use torches on your phones. If you need torches, they should be written into the game & provided, and that’s what keeps this a 👍🏻 rather than a 🩷 for me. Other than that it was good with some novel puzzles requiring good team work & comms to achieve things between you. There were some lanterns fixed in places in the room & some strangely shaped things (one with a symbol on it) next to them- but apparently they’re not part of the game, which was odd. This room has better decor than some of the others here, but if something no longer works or is in play, please get rid of it so people don’t waste time on it!
Gameplay
Some really novel games which worked well & required good communication & teamwork.
Atmosphere
This would have had top marks if it wasn’t for the lighting- and that also skews my grading overall. This room is impossible without using the torches on your phones. If you want people to have access to a torch then they should be provided. We don’t usually take our phones into rooms as we don’t want to risk damaging them/break the immersion. Other than that, it’s well decorated & themed, and really enjoyable.
