It’s the year 1930. You are traveling West via the Transcontinental Railroad. A winter storm has set in and the harsh blizzard conditions are relentless, blocking the tracks, and your travel, until morning. You must spend the night in Truckee’s only Hotel. You arrive at the Hotel, only to find it completely booked, with the exception of one room. Room 1512. The caretaker warns you that the room is haunted. Guests of room 1512 have gone missing, never checking out and never to be seen again. He pleads with you to move on to another town to find shelter elsewhere. It is late, and you are exhausted. Not one to believe in ghost stories, you book room 1512. As the caretaker hands you the key, he says a prayer under his breath as he points you to the room…

This is arguably the best room there. The set was pretty good, utilizing lights and sounds. There were a couple of good puzzles, but I felt that the room lacked signposting and many of the puzzles were not intuitive. This room also suffers from the same thing that their other two rooms suffered from, which is that sometimes it was not obvious what a completed puzzle has triggered. That said, I enjoyed the room and if you’re in town, it’s worth checking out. This place should do well with all of the tourists.
Great set, including lights and sounds. This one also had the best story of their three current rooms.
Friendly staff.

This was (barely) my favorite game at Elevation. Now, as mentioned in my other reviews, none of Elevation’s games are very impressive. All very middle of the road games. This game definitely has the best set design, feeling pretty similar to an actual cheap motel room. Puzzles were fine, admittedly there was some stuff I hadn’t seen before, though the execution could have been a little better in my opinion. Now, the problem with this game and all of elevation’s for that matter, but this one especially is it was often very unclear what happened when you solved something. Which got very frustrating.

New place nearby, had to check it out and we'll be back for their other two rooms. They were great at communicating and very nice. The room was we'll decorated with lots of cool features. It was pretty mechanical and we missed some trigger sounds that slowed us down but it worked out. Some of the puzzles were unique, especially the final grouping.
