It was alright, probably the biggest downside is that they did stick some random people in the room with us at the last minute, which led to us not getting to personally experience some of the puzzles. This was a bit of a bummer since we are huge fans of the show and the people put with us were not, which led to us missing some of the Easter eggs to the show, which was disappointing considering how expensive this room is. The game play was fine, although I wish the plot of the room more closely tracked the “solving murders” premise of the show rather than tracking a B plot, especially since it didn’t make a ton of sense why you would need to solve puzzles to find some film rolls. We enjoyed it, but I really wanted to like it more.

The room had some clever moments, but a missing clue prop AND a non functional clueing device really spoiled the experience.

Missing clue and broken clueing device. We weren't even told we were missing something and ended up using trial and error to get the solution.

Just the usual walking around and a very little time on the floor.
Has audio clues. Has color clues.

Fun game and great set as usual from TEG. The clues were challenging and a couple were a little vague. Not my favorite from TEG but still fun and a good atmosphere and experience overall.

What a fantastic room! Fun game, clever props and show related content! as a fan of the show and The Escape Game, I LOVED this room and found it to be logical, connected, and joyful (and I'm glad there wasn't another murder). only regret was that they didn't use more video of the cast, including the stars.
It was a pretty amazing set!

We love the show and had to do this room when we were in NYC. It is worth the visit for the easter eggs and immersion into the mystery. The puzzles were fun but nothing too mind boggling or new. Do this room if you love the show.
The theming made this game since we are such a fan of the show. Very immersive, felt like you were part of the mystery

sooo fun, especially for fans of the show! So many great easter eggs! I thought it was great with two people (but we’re both good at puzzles), would recommend 4 at most. The puzzles flowed well, and were pretty straightforward but not too easy. Some cool tech too! I loved it. If you’ve played The Escape Game before it’s like a reimagining of Art Heist, but I liked this one MUCH more

Fun game! Plenty of puzzles to keep a bigger group entertained. We had a group of 7 and there was rarely a time when someone was standing around doing nothing. Some puzzles that required teamwork. Ending felt a little anticlimactic.

Over the years, we’ve done rooms that where the theme has been based off an official IP of a movie, book or TV show, most unofficial but a few officially licensed. Proving once again that The Escape Game knows what they are doing, their official collaboration with the “Only Murders in the Building” TV show knocks it out of the park. Why? LOTS and LOTS of nods, references & Easter eggs to the TV show, especially the latest (Season 4). The goal of the game (to recover a missing movie reel) isn’t something contrived, but rather also related to the latest season. MOST importantly, unrelated to the show, it’s a solid escape room. The puzzles are intuitive and not just a walk-in-the-park. It’s a shame this is only offered at The Escape Game’s NYC & LA locations. If you are either a fan of the show or just like escape rooms, this is worth doing. If you love both (like us), this is a MUST-DO! Random: This was the first time EVER that we were encouraged to take pictures and video of anything both sitting and after the game! (Helps with marketing?)

Great puzzles and fun set design! I definitely think they should keep the room around, even if they re-skin it

We love the show and came specifically to play this room. It was very well done with some great out of the box thinking puzzles. We had a fabulous time.
