Treehouse Wars: Behind Enemy Lines

Rating: 4/5 - Nostalgic and whimsical with tons of fun puzzles Pros: ➕ Very puzzle dense game, great for puzzle lovers, tons of variety ➕ Non-linear play, you can divide and conquer ➕ Puzzles were very satisfying with lots of good "ahas" and all fit the theme. ➕ Mix of tech, padlocks, and tactile interactions ➕ Set was colorful with cute theming, it reminded me of my childhood, lots of custom pieces and details ➕ Some puzzles requiring teamwork/communication ➕ Multiple rooms to discover and explore ➕ GM/owners were friendly and great to chat with Room for improvement: ➖ Some areas felt cramped even with only 3 people I'd recommend sticking to the 3 player minimum due to the smaller spaces. One player may need to crawl and or go up some steps.

I loved this room. It overtook my long-standing Michigan favorite. I can absolutely see why it got nominated for TERPECA. The theme was so much fun, and every single puzzle fed into making the room more immersive. The room also did a great job of making the situation actually feel urgent, which is something I don't say about many rooms. There were elements of humor, but the puzzles still felt challenging to complete, and rewarding once finished. While our group did get through the room quickly, it didn't feel too easy because of the unique story elements. Fantastic room, I highly recommend it if you are in Michigan.

Had a great time playing Treehouse Wars! Love the room’s setting and design, made you feel like you were 12 again. Not overly complicated puzzles but clear that attention was paid to the design and flow of the room and lots to do. Definitely recommend.

This is a really neat room! It’s not the biggest or hardest room per se but it was PACKED with puzzles. Feels like there was more to do around every corner. We went a little over time and the owners just let us play until we finished, which was very kind of them. The puzzles all made sense, there was good flow, and the story was fun. The theme made you feel like you were actually in a treehouse and 12-13 years old. Very nostalgic. Definitely check out this room!

Lots and lots of fun! Really well designed, all the puzzles made sense, and I was really impressed by the whole setup. I highly, highly recommend Adventure Mode. I'm so excited to see what they do next!

Did this with our family of 4. We do a lot of rooms and the flow of this was awesome. Needed a few clues but when we did and got them we were always like darn can’t believe we did realize that. Theme was awesome and owners take pride in their creations. We all left with smiles on our faces. Can’t ask for more than that. Had 1:15 minutes to spare. We will be back to do their other magic room even know it’s an hour away.

Great game. I felt like a kid all over again. Loved the story, theme and design. We had 2 people and there is one puzzle you need a 3rd person for so the team helped us.

This is one of the best escape games I have played. I was literally smiling the whole time. It was nostalgic and some of the puzzles were just so cool. This one is in my top 5 for sure. Great company and owners, excited to play the other games they are working on!
