54 escape rooms
Exit Games knocks it out of the park again. The Princess Street location rooms are just on a whole different level, which is incredible given even their original location on Front had some great rooms as well. One thing that really sets Exit Games above others is what I'd call "commitment to the bit", the buy-in from the GM, the intro, and the set-up are all incredibly well done. This whole thing doesn't work if you are just thrust into a room with a video on a TV screen. But lets also talk about the theming; this room and Hidden Needle Tattoo Parlor are some of the best cohesively themed rooms I've ever done. Nothing pops out at you off the bat because everything MAKES SENSE to be there. Puzzles are crafted from things that are naturally found in the room, what is a common pitfall for mid-tier rooms I do is that puzzles are forced into the setting and thus stick out like a sore thumb and often don't even make sense thematically, this is NOT the case here. Do yourself a favor and play this and Hidden Needle, and rest easy that until Exit Games puts out a new room, you've played some of the best in the country.
Gameplay
Great puzzles, nothing too hard or obtuse, but often repackaged within the theme so not quite as obvious as you would expect. Some hidden aspects that only reveal themselves to you later which is incredibly satisfying and well done.
Atmosphere
I felt like I was in a really well decorated dorm room. The size was perfect, the furniture and set-up was great, and nothing felt out of place. Everything there I could see existing in a dorm room from college, and each of the "transitional" rooms also were just incredibly well decorated and themed. Exit Games are certainly in the top 1% in theming, and it makes their rooms so much more impressive.
Customer service
Jacob was fantastic. As I stated in my overall review, it truly does take full commitment from your GM for a room like this to work. We loved the interaction with him, the roleplay/acting, and the hint system as always, even if we only got to utilize it once (more a riddle answer than a direct "do this").

Story
Cute, funny, and memorable. Really appreciate a room that isn't just "you're locked in here!" because then you have to explain just a bit too much of why someone locked you in there and why there are a series of puzzles to escape. Needing to clean your room and do your homework before parents weekend and adapt to changing circumstances quickly felt entirely natural. Puzzles were more of a "To-Do", you could easily accept the "why" of each step along the way.
Difficulty
Medium
Nothing terribly difficult, but that doesn't mean they were not satisfying or clever. After 50+ escape rooms and countless video games it becomes rather difficult to find something that truly stumps us, but blending puzzles into the environment is the one way to really ramp up the difficulty while increasing the immersion.
Game tech
High tech
Leaning high tech, but definitely a fair share of mechanical puzzles. Less on the key + lock aspect though, which is always nice.
