This was our second room at this location. Pretty much the same set up as the mansion murder game - three small rooms which ends with you getting a code to put into a key pad. We had several issues in the this room. The first being the puzzle that involved the sleeping man didn’t have a key drop once we solved it because the game master hadn’t properly reset the game so they had to come back in and give us the key to continue our progress. In this time we had wasted about 10-15 minutes which I asked if we would get more time or our game would be paused and the game master said it would be but we never got more time. Then the puzzle with the dials and degrees we had matched exactly but it did not trigger the panel opening right away which took up more time. These glitches or issues with the tech should’ve been addressed by the staff which they didn’t and just continued to game. When we asked for hints she would just give us the answer (I believe this was because we were running out of time however we would’ve had more time if they had just paused our game when they came to fix the first issue).

A fun, beginner-friendly experience that pays homage to the classic Scooby-Doo TV show. The puzzles were pretty straight-forward and none of them were overtly challenging. If you are new to escape rooms and/or have a soft spot for Scooby-Doo, then you'll likely enjoy this room!
There was a good variety of puzzles that took up the full space of the room. There were a lot of Scooby-Doo puzzles that were based on tropes from the TV shows/movies that added to the immersion + were a fun nod. The use of screens were a *little* much at times, but they make the room beginner-friendly. One nitpicky thing is that there were plaques around the escape room that had step-by-step instructions on how to solve the puzzles, which I think wasn't always necessary. The room seemed more beginner-friendly, so it's understandable why they were posted. My suggestion would be to put covers over the instructions so players can have the option to try to solve the puzzles first without the guidance.
The set design made it truly feel like we were in the classic Scooby Doo universe.
Our GM (Martina) was lovely. She asked us ahead of time about our experience and tailored the game to not give us clues unless we asked for them.

We are 2 experienced escape room players and we got out with about 20 mins to spare.
