Sealed off in 1989, the old Valencia Station at the end of the Orange line was plagued by ghosts before the Ghost Exterminators trapped them all in containment units. Now, they can’t leave, haunting visitors of the abandoned station from their host items in the hopes of escape. After a brief ride in our private train car, our guides will escort you down to the subway tunnels. There, it will be your turn to try your hand at gathering all of Valencia’s specters into a ghost box left behind by the Ghost Exterminators and releasing them from the station once and for all. You’ll receive help along the way from the ghosts themselves, especially the mysterious Station Master and his loyal pup, Cujo, but ultimately, it’ll be up to you to free them… Are you up to the challenge?

Very fun and unique room! I like that it's concept wasn't to escape, but rather to help ghosts. Very ghostbuster-esque plot with lots of humor. The puzzles were on the easier side in terms of intellectual skill, but were so varied and fun to solve it kept our group entertained! Great room for families.
High tech
A few locks, and some high tech puzzles.

This was fun! There was one puzzle that stood out as pretty unique to us, and the story was cute. Our GM was awesome!

This is a very linear, beginner friendly, humorous Ghostbusters themed room. It was a lot of fun, the set was great, and the projections were a nice addition. It is on the easier side for enthusiasts, but it is enjoyable.
I really enjoyed several of the puzzles. This is a very linear room and the ghosts will keep you on course.
Great set. It felt like you were in New York.
Nice staff.

3-5 is fine. The room is very linear so large groups would be bored.

I think the Morty score sells this one short, this game is actually really fun. It’s a fairly linear, fairly simple game, but it’s a lot of fun, it has some very unique and interesting puzzles. A very unique theme, and a really well done set. There is one puzzle that sucks, but everything else is actually really good about this game, if you’re going to intrepid to play Jewel of the Sea, make sure you do haunted terminal too!

Shared sentiment with a few of the other reviews - the other two rooms are very fun and immersive. But for us this one just didn’t click.

We came here to do another game, loved it so much so we decided to stay and do this one too. The atmosphere at Intrepid is amazing. It’s located at a random office complex but from the outside you appreciate how well lit the place is with gorgeously fun displays. They really took the effort to make it fun and welcoming. Inside there are little puzzles to keep you occupied and great decorations in the lobby. It’s fun to just hang out. The game itself was also a lot of fun. Really cool story with good puzzles. Several locks. The difficulty is medium. Even though it has a ghost related story it’s not scary at all. Great for families.

We (30s) played this with my parents (60s) and I didn’t like that so much of the game was in the dark. While our young eyes could scout of the pieces in the dark they missed out on a whole part and were mostly confused. Would love to see the dark specified on this one for accessibility

We’ve played the original Terminal room and felt this version was a lot better. It’s got a comedic ghostbuster feel and is very family friendly. Some familiar moments if you’ve played the original but the puzzles here felt fresh. I think it’s a good beginner type room. We flew through it with plenty of time so might be a bit on the easy side for enthusiasts. Still enjoyable nonetheless and fairly linear. Our group of 4 felt like the right size for this at max but you could definitely knock this one out with just 2.

This room amazingly refurbished. It took an idea and worked really well. It showed that if you have a room idea and a good base it can take on multiple ideas and not feel old.
It flowed well. It was a great way to repurpose a room but still make it feel new.
The set design always makes you feel like you are walking onto a stage.
Our GM Dani was amazing. She remembered us from the other rooms we did at this location. It made us feel special.
