My recent visit to INBLACK Escape Room in North York was absolutely phenomenal. We tackled the “MY HOME” horror room, and it stands out as one of the best horror experiences I've ever had. The atmosphere was impeccably crafted—deeply immersive, perfectly creepy, and it held us in a state of thrilling tension throughout. The puzzles were intelligently designed, offering a satisfying challenge that never felt unfair, and they integrated seamlessly into the narrative. The jump scares were paced masterfully, and the incredible attention to detail in the set design made it feel like we had stepped into a real-life horror film. The staff further elevated the experience—they were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their craft. For any fan of horror, thrill-seeking, or simply unforgettable immersive entertainment, I cannot recommend INBLACK Escape Room – North York enough. The “MY HOME” room is a must-try, and we're already eager to return to experience another of their adventures!

Our group tried the "My Home" escape room. If you're looking for a strong narrative with a good scare, this is an excellent choice. The live actor was fantastic—their performance was so immersive that it felt more like living inside a movie than a traditional puzzle-solving game. The puzzles themselves are quite linear and straightforward, which works well here, as they're designed to support the actor-driven story rather than be the main challenge. Overall, the set design is commendable.

It was pretty different from the classic escape rooms I played. But was really interesting that gave me unique and immersive experience. I rarely see NPC that were acting so hard and passionate for their work, and it was really great.

Just played My Home in North York and it was honestly super interesting—definitely something I’ve never seen before in an escape room. You get to play with an NPC, which makes the whole experience feel way more immersive. The storyline has some nice twists that keep things exciting. The horror level is good and really depends on the person, my friends found it very scary but I personally found it more fun than scary. The puzzles are well connected and make sense with the story, so everything flows really well. Overall, a very fun and unique escape room experience!

We recently tried My Home, and although it wasn’t my first escape room with a live actor, it was definitely a memorable experience. The story, setup, and puzzles were all very well designed, and our actress Yulie delivered an excellent performance. The puzzles were not overly difficult—there was one that felt a bit confusing, but depending on how you interpret it, you might not struggle with it—and there were a few well-placed jump scares throughout. There is some intense strobe lighting that can leave you momentarily blinded, so if you have epilepsy, it’s a good idea to call ahead and ask about it. Most of the instruction cards and props come in both English and Chinese, and the instructions are also read aloud through the speakers. Overall, it was a really fun experience, and I’d definitely come back!

Thumbs up based on it being a scary/haunted experience. I wouldn’t classify this as an escape room. There were maybe 1 or 2 puzzles max. But I’d definitely recommend it for someone wanting to to something scary, especially around halloween. Live actors and lighting effects were a lot of fun.
