Finish your mission before this evil minister finishes his. A power-mad cult leader. A bone-chilling curse. Break the cycle before midnight or face death yourself! The deranged minister of Crickley Church decided to kill his entire congregation after their confessions convinced his twisted mind that they had, among themselves, committed the 7 Deadly Sins. After inciting a curse on the children playing in the rooms beneath the church he buries himself alive in the church’s hidden crypt, while promising to haunt the church forevermore. Now it’s up to you to locate the hidden crypt, find the dagger, and drive it through the heart of the evil minister before time runs out. Then, and only then, you will be saved and destroy the curse forever.

The reviews on this room at their Orland Park location say what I want to say better than I can. I would highly recommend setting aside pride in this room and asking for hints often. It was needlessly difficult and frustrating at times from poorly thought out clues.

Not intuitive and the clues and puzzles just straight up don’t make sense at times. Even when given hints we still were lost.

7 Deadly Sins is a fun, spookyish room set in a church. The puzzles are pretty enjoyable, but a bit devilish, though very manageable except a few that could be interpreted in multiple ways. It’s also dark, but luckily we could use our phone flashlights. Without it, it would have been much more difficult. I really enjoyed the theme and setting, though one thing that would have elevated it is a more interesting set design than just wallpapers of scenery. Loved the fun moments throughout, especially at the end! If you’re a glutton for difficult puzzles that test your wrath and lusting for a good Halloween experience, try this room out and satisfy your escape room greed! I won’t envy you if you’re a sloth, and can’t solve these tough puzzles fast enough. Our team of 2 escaped with pride and time to spare!
