Multiple puzzles led us to keys or solutions we had already found just by searching the room, which meant we spent much of the time working on puzzles that went nowhere. Keys were just hidden around the room so anyone with even a small amount of escape room experience would be able to find them, since the first rule of escape rooms is search everywhere when you first get in. It was really disappointing from a puzzle standpoint, and we kept being confused since we thought we must be missing something. The game master disappeared for a large portion of the game, so when we asked βhey, I think this puzzle just leads us to this key we already found, can you confirm or is there something we are missing?β We were left for minutes at a time with no answer. This rooms costs the same as most other rooms with much better game play, and itβs also only 45 minutes. Bleh.
