Happy to add this experience in Morty! The Tokyo Matrix is a completely English-friendly progression game, where players have to clear 5 quests to succeed. The team will have 3 lives and 2 paid continues, a life will be lost if you fail a quest. We played the SAO theme Anomaly Quest which is ending on 5th Jan. I believe they will have other themes coming soon. The Tokyo Matrix adopt a very special way of registration where you have to use your smartphone for admin stuff (forming your party, calling items, check-ins, continues). Entries and continues are all done using Tapolo (their in game currency which players have to buy themselves). The game also involves the use of items to make the quest easier. Some items are given for free for the first time but you’ll have to use Tapolo to call for more and better ones. Now speaking of the game itself, the space is huge and the Anomaly Quest offers a very diverse set of mini games, mostly done on screens and monitors. Different abilities like strength, memories, teamwork, listening, reaction speed, strategy, etc may be tested. They are fun to solve but could be quite stressful under time pressure, difficulty also increases through stages. Be sure to consult staff if you’re unsure about the instructions for the best experience, you may feel quite clueless on the first try. We have been to the Tokyo Matrix three times and could not reach Quest 4. Personally think that the games got quite hard without items, which makes it really difficult to pass the quest. Especially whilst items and continues are both obtained through payment, it almost just feels like the more money you spent, the more likely you’ll pass the challenge. All in all, I would recommend the Tokyo Matrix for a one time experience thing. Even though you may not be able to clear the challenge in one go, you’ll still experience the general fun of it as some free items are available for first timers. If you would want to play repeatedly to clear the game however, it’ll either be costly for an easier experience through items calling or just pure grinding, neither of them is the best experience thus I would not recommend.
