Part 1: The Purgers Well, this is awkward. You’ve been “kidnapped” by a gang of dropout misfits who used to target their old teachers—until they ran out of them. Now, they’re grabbing anyone who crosses their path (lucky you!) and locking them in their creepy classroom lair to “test” them. With just 60 minutes to escape, your team will need to solve puzzles, crack codes, and outsmart these wannabe troublemakers before they decide to “purge” you next. Part 2: Unfinished Business You escaped the Purgers, but the nightmare has only just begun. The owners of SAGE! Escape Room have vanished without a trace, just before finishing their latest game. Your game master seems nervous, almost frantic, and begs for your help to get into the “Secret Room”. The key to it all lies within, they keep repeating. As you dig deeper, an unsettling truth emerges: this isn’t the owners' game anymore… it’s yours, and it’s too late to turn back now. If you can’t crack the code to access the secret room, you’ll never uncover what happened to the missing owners… and you might just share their fate. The walls feel like they’re closing in, every creak and puzzle a sinister reminder that someone—or something—is watching you, perhaps the very “mastermind” behind the owners’ disappearance… Note: This game shatters the fourth wall, blurring the line between escape room and reality.

Even though I was terrible at figuring out the puzzles, I had fun working w the friends I was with. I liked the different things they did although I personally wasn’t crazy about the lack of lighting without the potential to use our cell phone flashlights at least. Some beta testers apparently wanted the scary effect more. Can’t please everyone.

Gameplay

A couple of things maybe weren’t as straightforward as they should be but it was well put together especially for a small, personalized team.

I always enjoy the Sage escape room. The purgers was the first ever escape room I have ever completed and originally made my family and I fall in love with escape rooms. The game is challenging, many different types of puzzles, and a good story line to follow. Anytime sage has a new escape room we always try to hit it first as we have always had great experiences there. When we went today had the opportunity to do the 2 hour experience which I enjoy vs trying to do 2 different story lines at the same place. I hope you all enjoy as much as my family and I did.
