Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang need your mystery-solving help…or else! The town of Crystal Cove and surrounding areas are being terrorized by monsters and ghosts, and now the local Baroness Maria Richman has gone missing and it is suspected that the ghost sightings have something to do with it! Tasked with solving the crime, you arrive at the same conclusion as Mystery Incorporated. But when you get to the Spooky Castle, Mystery Inc. gets locked out, at the same time you get locked in! You soon realize that they’re able to help by communicating clues via magic portraits inside the Castle. After discovering a secret dungeon and monster lab in the castle, you come to the conclusion that the person responsible almost certainly works in the castle - but who could it be as there are several suspects??

Greeters were awesome! Game was fun and entertaining. Items in game need some help.. Or the GM needs to be more on top of things to override when items do not open. 2 locks were also left open inside room, but we just locked them to enjoy the true gameplay. Would highly recommend if game wasn’t so glitchy.

Game flowed well, cute and fun! Items opening did not work well.

Atmosphere

Set was great! Props did not work as planned: All items with a magnetic lock - did not pop open once solved. You could tell they were overriding those items, since we thought we got it wrong and was already trying something else when the magnet popped open. Also a cypher wheel did not spin and seemed like it was glued in place- we spent about 20 minutes trying to figure it out, till they sent a hint about it being able to turn. The strongest of us used all his strength to spin it finally, since no one came to help.

Room was dressed excellently and the use of the actual voice actors greatly contributed to the experience. The overall venue is appointed incredibly. The game however was waaaay too linear. The story was sound but you basically watched one person go from one puzzle to the next as there was only on challenge “active” at any point.

Honestly, I’ve done 30-40 rooms and while the staff were great the puzzles mostly just suck. Illogical, non linear, and I’ve never gotten more frustrated at any other location. It’s not fun it’s like a chore and I would not go again.

The game played well, everything seemed to work nicely, the puzzles made sense and the room was very linear. Overall we had an amazing experience! We cruised through and escaped with over 15 minutes remaining as a team of 2

Room was clean and well thought out but the interactive aspects of the room didn't work and the key we discovered worked for all locks. GM didn't know how we skipped so many steps and had to intervene and the game was significantly disrupted.
