The Rotary

We had a fantastic time playing The Rotary at Escape Zwolle. The highlight was the incredible intro by our host and GM, Niels, who stayed brilliantly in character and set the tone for the experience. His humor and energy added so much to the room, making it especially memorable. The room itself is relatively new, just over a year and a half old. The puzzles were well-connected to the story and theme, making the gameplay feel cohesive and purposeful. While the décor wasn’t particularly spectacular, it fit the theme and worked well to support the narrative. The progression through different areas added to the storytelling and kept things engaging. We appreciated the thoughtful ending, which included a photo moment and a walkthrough of our performance (who could narrate exactly how we did through each section). Niels remained attentive and enthusiastic throughout, enhancing the overall experience. This is an experience I’d highly recommend—well worth a visit!
