Downfall of the Don

Nothing terrible but nothing great either. This feels more like a lower end escape room for the caliber and quality this company is known for (Disappearance and Cinema 7 respectively). Still, it’s not a bad time, but seasoned vets may find it pedestrian while beginners may find it frustrating. The rooms feel strangely scarce when it comes to detail compared to their other rooms, which I found a little surprising upon entry. It’s serviceable and gets the job done, but I wouldn’t say it’s terribly immersive, which is a shame because a little bit more detail, set decor and production design would have gone a long way. We have played a few similarly themed rooms around Florida, and this felt like a quickly put together escape room with a larger than usual budget for something on the lower end. Not awful, but you’d expect more for the price. You may find the music getting on your nerves after a while too 😵‍💫 Gameplay is pretty standard, with puzzles ranging from extremely easy to rather obtuse, ridiculous puzzle logic/pattern recognition. Pretty standard stuff for entry level escape rooms. There’s some fun little brain twisters but again, the room is also a bit too difficult and frustrating for newcomers. The Italian theme feels played out and tired and mostly phoned in here. Still, if you’ve got the time, there are worse ways to spend an hour in Orlando.

Overall a fun room but not as wowing as some of their other rooms. Not very immersive- rooms felt a little sparse. Hints were given without us asking, which was a little frustrating. They were super busy that night so we felt rushed in and out instead of the usual A+ service we’ve had in the past. Not our favorite room at this location, but a good one to do for beginners.

The Game Masters at Will to Escape really make the experience. Justin is one of the best with his attentiveness and storytelling. As for the room, this one was a fun, relatively easy room with sequential puzzles. Some audio clues were hard to hear, but the GM was able to replay them remotely when we asked. Great theming including scents.

The room was fine ** for beginners ** We have experienced all of the rooms offered by Will To Escape (Orlando and Jupiter) and none have been as simplistic as this room. And to be the next new room following Cinema 7 (which was great!) - well, it was a major disappointment. Enthusiasts... skip this one.

Fun new room at Will to Escape. The storyline is exactly as the description says and it’s easy to follow. The clues are all straightforward without any frustrations. Always recommend this place, but the parking is in a garage and can be difficult to grab a spot during the weekends.

Making my return to Will after so long and with a decent experience was a breathe of fresh air. Being a nonlinear experience for the first room of the game it flowed very well and we were able to quickly pick up what was going on from puzzle to puzzle. The second section of the game is where we began to have some trouble. Some puzzles were not fully clued in or not clear at all. But not to say we didn’t manage to have a fun time in this experience! Compared to the original games at this venue I would definitely recommend this one for a quick and fun outing!

Love the storyline in this one. Enjoyed the gameplay. Casie did an amazing job as host. She made it extra fun.
