Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle Adventure

The room itself was pretty straight forward, good room for kids and first timers. It’s an okay room if you are an enthusiast. What was lacking was the customer interactions. One of my favorite things about escape rooms are the game masters. Usually there’s a little conversation before and/or after the game but this game felt very rushed. From the moment we entered the lobby until we left, the GMs seemed annoyed of our presence. As soon as the game was over, GM just opened the door to let us out. No celebration, no opening to questions, nothing at all. I know that the GMs don’t owe us that but I’ve also done 60 rooms and have never felt so unwelcome. On the way out my friend told the GMs “thank you. Have a good night” and not a single person responded. I wanted to do more rooms here but the rushing us out of the building made me want to never come back. Super disappointed in the lack of care.

By far my personal favorite room here, as for connection between the characters and the rooms story.

Solid branded experience. It’s a mill that churns people through, but this one has good cogs. The puzzles and design were enjoyably themed.

Just escaped this room with two people. As Scooby Doo fans, it felt like we were in one of their mysteries which is why I would recommend it. Theming and voices on point. Staff was friendly, courteous, and even threw us a well timed hint.

Baby’s first escape room!!!

This room was very well themed and had high production value. That said, I would hope that's the case because regular cost was $50 a person (they have the typical fathers day sales and such if you are on their mailing list). We got a several hints and I think the game master unlocked certain puzzles for us that seemed like we were getting "stuck" I have 5 poeple in my group and a family member had missed one of the critical items in a dark area of a chest so that's on use. Always a little bit of a mixed bag playing with family where a clue gets over looked by a very occasional player, but you are having a bonding experience. I think being near a theme park, this is heavily factored in and you are more likely to escape than not, though it still feels pretty organic, and the puzzles are certainly solvable. The highlight of the room is certainly the tight integration with the intellectual property, the theme really shines through.

The room was very nostalgic and I enjoyed the theme very much. 3 people was perfect for this room. Not too difficult but still entertaining for us. It was a little chaotic when we checked in but I think it’s because it’s still a new location and they are figuring out how to organize it a little better but I had a great time doing this room.

Great affects and audio. Very fun and quick flowing puzzles great for all ages. Staff here were super helpful and enthusiastic from check in to departure.
