Shame that a lot of the puzzles were broken and didn’t detect correct solutions unless you had things placed with millimeter accuracy. Wasted a lot of our time and was disappointing.

A power-mad cult leader. A bone-chilling curse. Break the cycle before midnight or face death yourself! The deranged minister of Crickley Church decided to kill his entire congregation after their confessions convinced his twisted mind that they had, among themselves, committed the 7 Deadly Sins. After inciting a curse on the children playing in the rooms beneath the church he buries himself alive in the church’s hidden crypt, while promising to haunt the church forevermore. Now it’s up to you to locate the hidden crypt, find the dagger, and drive it through the heart of the evil minister before time runs out. Then, and only then, you will be saved and destroy the curse forever.

The first room is mostly easy. The puzzles are simple to figure out. We got through this part in about 10 min. The 2nd room is where things got a little off. We solved one puzzle that was supposed to trigger a change in the room and reveal a clue you’ll need to move forward but it did not work. The gm had to display the clue on the screen for us. This made us lose about 20 min due to this issue. We still finished the room but with only 10 or so min to go. Would have been much faster if the room all worked. The atmosphere is very good on this room. It’s not scary but does have a spooky vibe. The end was kind of lame. It only required solving a couple puzzles and then it just gave you the final piece. We’ve done most of the rooms at this location and this one was probably somewhere in the middle for fun.

We were able to beat the game with 2 ppl but we did rely quite heavily on the clues to guide us through some challenging puzzles. The atmosphere was spooky. There were a bit more locks than we had anticipated. It was a good balance of some light reading and the spotting of various patterns, and some puzzles did expect you to carry the old one to the next! Overall, we did have fun and quite enjoyed the theme and the clues surrounding the 7 deadly sins.

Really fun room. Puzzles all went together. I think we got stuck briefly one in each room. But our game master was quick with the hints. Well put together and all puzzle pieces worked great.
