We had really high hopes for this escape room. First, we were put off because we couldn't actually find the building. We Ubered to the place and the map was wrong, so we were on the wrong end of the block. This resulted in us being about 5 minutes late. When we were buzzed in and got up to the correct floor, the person doing check ins was clearly overwhelmed and was not happy we were late. We got reprimanded for almost being out of our 10 minute grace period. After that, we were told that out of the three wavers we did in advance, only one of them went through because we used the same email address for all three. When we got into the room, it was a rush to get started. I won't go into details of the puzzles, but many of the tech puzzles had to be manually bypassed (you know when you can just tell that it's a bypass and not happening from what you are doing). When we got through the first door to the second room, one of the puzzles was already solved and the door to the third room was already popped. This was very disappointing. Then, after the first ten minutes, the game master decided to start telling us what we needed to do instead of allowing us to try and figure it out. We decided it became more of a guided story than an escape room. We really liked some of the puzzles though...but there was just so much disappointment...when we got out of the room, we were rushed to the exit, a quick picture was taken and then we were given directions to show ourselves out and the GM left (after asking for a 5 star review). Overall, we were very upset with this experience. I don't believe we will be doing the other rooms here after this poor experience.
