Doomsday Disaster!

I ended up enjoying this room very much, despite having so many problems with it. Some were my own fault, but not all of them. There is a lot to accomplish in this room, especially for two people. We were hampered by low lighting, to the point where the host/GM intervened by bringing us a small flashlight. We also had trouble with finicky locks, which made us waste a lot of time thinking our answers were wrong when they weren't. This happened not just once, but several times. The music and the voice acting were well done and added a lot to the story.

Fantastically themed room. The puzzles all connected into the broader story for the room and the narration throughout the experience really added to the vibe of the room. Some of the puzzles were really on point. A few I rode the struggle-bus with but the GM offered helpful hints to point us in the right direction to keep us on track. We finished with two people but think 3-4 adult sized humans would be perfect for the room.

This is one of the worst rooms we have ever done. Do not do this one. The gameplay wasn’t interesting. So many things were broken that it became annoying. We all left there just feeling let down. The GM would offer advice on a puzzle we had finished a while ago. Several puzzles we did correct and kept checking ourselves when nothing happened. Once the GM came in and pressed a button when he confirmed we did it correctly. Avoid this one. Absolutely horrible.

Puzzle wise, this is on par with your average escape room with slightly above average set design. It was still fun, but nothing to write home about. There was nothing super unique about it, but it was a good time! This is my ranking of all the rooms I’ve done at this location: 1. Echoes at Murder Heights 2. Bigfoot 3. Doomsday 4. Curse of the Mummy

I have run over 200 escape rooms and I would rank this room in the bottom 5 of all of them. The lighting is awful, no one in our group was able to read numerous clue numbers or locks due to bad lighting. Most of the escape room was incredibly flimsy and looked like assembly was rushed. The game master did not follow along so when we asked for clues he provided context to items already completed and wasted our time. When electronic items were completed resulting in unlocks we never knew anything happened due to no audible clue or movement. Try this room if you wish, but it's incredibly overrated.

Great game play and game flow. Fun and easy to follow.

First room way too dark. Needs a flashlight...we shouldn't have to ask for one. The dim light provided doesn't reach some of the areas you have to read from. Also, it needs a timer inside so you can pace yourself. Other than that, the theme was cute and different. Setting is okay, you can see some wires sticking out in different places but maybe it's part of the theme? Not sure. Not our favorite game at this place, but still good to experience.

what a beautiful room!! the environment was sooo good. the pressure, the music ugh really captured the fallout kinda vibe perfectly. the flow was wonderful, everything made sense and the puzzles were a good mix of funky and challenging
