We did not make it out, but I believe we were close. Once our time was up and they came in and showed us how to open the lock we got stuck on we felt so silly we’d missed something that in hindsight was so obvious. But we had a blast playing anyways. And I did appreciate that it was a low tech room. There were I believe 3 sort of low tech locks, and the rest were old no tech good old combo or key locks, which is my preference. We did have our 5 year old in tow today, and it’s normally just my husband and I. I’d like to think if it had been just the two of us, we’d have escaped. lol. But trying to raise another escape room junkie and gotta get him started some time.

Western themed room with a piano and a fake bar. Not well made but not terrible. It wasn’t as fun as the others but the puzzles were occasionally challenging.

The facility is AWESOME! Cool bar setup, and amazing staff. There is parking close by for cheap, too. The game itself is pretty old. Much of the logic is outdated when compared to games built in the last 5 years… but we had fun, had a beer, and we plan to return!

Solo-d this game! It is on the easier side and feels like an older, classic escape game. Nothing really wrong with it, but there are no reveals or exciting puzzles. The set is okay, somewhat boring. If the theme really speaks to you and you are looking for an easier game, give it a go.

Loved the decor of the room and how fun the puzzles were. We had 6 people which was the right amount for this room. I'd say about half of the locks were traditional, but they had a fun twist on them. One of my more favorite western themed!

This one was just ok. If there was something between Like and Dislike, that’s where I’d put this one. Fun enough but nothing special. It was a little tough to get going with the first clue, but once you figure out the first one, then the ball starts rolling. There’s a couple puzzles that’ll stump you along the way, but not too bad. It felt really short, I feel like there could’ve been a few more clues.

I wish there was an option between thumbs up and thumbs down. This one was a bit “meh” for me. It was fine, we escaped with two and everything functioned like it should have. It wasn’t a “bad” experience but at the same time it certainly wasn’t unique or memorable. Pretty run of the mill with little to no pizazz. (Despite the fact that it’s based on the OK Coral shootout, and my favorite movie is Tombstone….but I digress) Of the rooms at Escapology, this is probably the least “inspired” as far as puzzle styles are concerned. Good enough if you’re jonesing to do a room, but certainly not anything novel.
